Its old harbour-side pubs, excellent shopping, Pendennis Castle and the stunning new National Maritime Museum complete the picture. Helpfulness of the owner with general information and putting us in touch with a reliable mechanic when our daughter had car problems.

Mrs Clifford, Twickenham, September 2012

The owner was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. He made a big effort to offer suggestions to keep our children occupied and took them to pick fruit and veg. The cottage itself was like a Cornish tardis, it was beautiful.

Ms Rowlands, Stoke-on-Trent, September 2012

Fantastic location, in the country near sea, best of both. Friendly caretaker made us and the children very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

Mrs Ghosh, Bolton, August 2012

Once again the cottage was immaculate and the welcome warm. This was our second visit to the cottage and the standards are even higher than last year. The cream tea and core essentials that awaited us were a very nice touch. The owner was his usual welcoming and helpful self and nothing was too much trouble.

Mr Ingram, Musselburgh, July 2012
