Lanivet 4.5 miles.
This semi-detached cottage adjoins the owner’s farmhouse on their smallholding in Inches, set more or less in the centre of Cornwall, providing a perfect base for walkers, cyclists and for touring the area.
Located in a hamlet, close to the small village of Lanivet and within reach of the towns of Wadebridge and Bodmin, this cosy cottage is only a few minutes’ from the A30, the main trunk road running from the Cornwall/Devon border to Land’s End.
Once you drive down the leafy lanes to this peaceful holiday home you will begin to feel a long way from the stress of everyday life.
You enter the cottage directly into the well-equipped kitchen, which then leads you through to the spacious sitting room with dining area and French doors to the large garden.
Completing the accommodation is a double bedroom and a lovely bathroom with corner bath.
Being so centrally located makes everywhere, the north, south, east and west, as well as both coasts easily accessible offering an opportunity to see a great deal of what Cornwall has to offer.
Even closer to home though is the ever popular Camel Trail, an 18 mile surfaced and virtually level multi-use trail along a disused railway line.
A wonderful walk or ride can be had from joining the trail at nearby Grogley Halt and onto Wadebridge, or for the more adventurous you can reach Padstow for lunch before returning along the beautiful track home.
A walk or ride in the other direction takes you along a fine wooded section of the trail, which provides you with an excellent opportunity to view wildlife.
Enthusiastic walkers can follow the rustic Saint's Way from coast to coast, which passes within half a mile of the cottage.
There are so many opportunities to appreciate all that Cornwall has to offer, whilst at the same time giving you a chance to totally unwind making a stay here a welcome break at any time of year.
Note: This cottage is across a small courtyard from Ref. 934907, together they sleep 4.
