Once the home of Mevagissey’s first bank, this imposing Grade II listed village-centre building has been renovated to a high standard, creating a Cornwall holiday cottage of comfort and character. Set over three floors and just 100 yards from the harbour, the property retains many original features. The bedrooms are mainly over the ground and second floors, while one bedroom and the main, stylish living space occupy the first floor. The exquisite dining room, with its parquet flooring, panelled walls and glazed ceiling is overlooked by a balcony leading from the second floor bedrooms. Close to all Mevagissey has to offer, the harbour, pubs and restaurants are all within a short stroll. Wander to the water’s edge for a morning coffee and watch the fishermen unload their catch, stroll along the coastal path on the headland or walk to the Lost Gardens of Heligan (it’s not far!). Previous visitors' comments about Driftwood House:
Our Christmas break was lovely. The house is beautiful and immaculately clean. The owners very kindly put up a Christmas tree and decorations for us. Mevagissey is a lovely place and we were made very welcome by the locals.

Mrs Bartlett, Clevedon, December 2009
The Cornish coast is beautiful. We could walk to the sea whenever we wanted, within 5 minutes.
Mr Manuel, Gloucester, October 2009
Good Location, plenty of room. Light and airy throughout, and cosy in bad weather. Kids were happy and loved all the staircases and hiding places. Piano was a great touch and enjoyed by all of us.
