The Property

A superb former fisherman's cottage, nestling in a narrow street close to the harbour, in the picturesque fishing village of Mousehole. Recently renovated, its beamed ceilings, exposed stonework, original wood panelling and inglenook fireplaces sit perfectly with the state of the art appliances, white paintwork and contemporary furnishings. The open plan living area leads to a small covered and cobbled courtyard, just perfect for outdoor relaxation. Set back from the harbour the property avoids the summertime crowds, yet is just a 2 minute stroll from the village's pubs and restaurants. The area is renowned for its coastal walking; step out of the door and you're almost on the Coastal Path, winding its way down to Land's End beyond. Standing stones, stone circles and other reminders of the region's ancient past abound while the gardens on St Michael's Mount across the bay, the shops of Penzance, the Mediterranean feel of beautiful Marazion and the resort attractions of St Ives are all just minutes away by car. A holiday home that will call you back to the region time and again.

The cottage was so conveniently situated for the village amenities and in such an attractive location. It was also well equipped and comfortable, a home-from-home.

The cottage location to the harbour and shops was very good.
Mrs Rodgers, QUEENSLAND, May 2011

Everything! Having never been to Cornwall I loved the whole area. Mousehole proved to be a wonderful base for the areas we wanted to visit and had an excellent pub offering good food and 2 lovely restaurants. The tea rooms cream teas were good too!
