An old and picturesque market town sitting among the lush green countryside just five miles from the North Cornish coast. The resort attractions of Newquay including bars, clubs, zoo, vibrant shops, national surfing centre and fabulous beaches are just 10 miles away, while 9 miles in the other direction is the sleepy fishing harbour of Padstow. In between lies a beautiful section of the SW coast path, winding its way over the cliff tops, down to tranquil coves and across some of the region's top beaches. The surrounding area is also a visitor’s paradise with much to see and do. Stately homes, world-renowned gardens, adventure playgrounds and theme parks, model railways, fishing lakes, golf courses - they're all within 10 miles. Even the spectacular Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, both on the other side of the county, are only 18 miles away.

A great location for a peaceful holiday. We had three generations of our family, and found the accommodation to be clean, comfortable and spacious, with everything we could possibly need and more. The on site facilities were also great. We would definitely come and stay again.
