Location: Pentewan

St Austell 4 miles; Mevagissey 2 miles.

Pentewan is a delightful coastal village set back from the sandy expanse of Pentewan Beach. The village shop and pub draw visitors from far and wide, while the beach is good for children. The coastal path passes through the village and as it climbs up the cliffside towards Mevagissey, the views across the bay toward Devon in the far distance are breathtaking. Good cycle paths pass close by the village, there is a great river close by for fishing enthusiasts, the Lost Gardens of Heligan are just a short walk away, and the historic and scenic Charlestown harbour is also close by. The nearby fishing village of Mevagissey offers many restaurants and fresh harbour fish, while the Eden Project is within easy reach and well worth a visit.

Previous visitors' comments about Nut Cottage:

My wife and I thought Nut Cottage was one of the nicest cottages to stay in. Very cosy and warm and not having to ply a meter with coins. The lounge was complete with a nice TV, DVD and video player and had plenty of DVD's. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and modern. Thank you Sykes for a first class recommendation.
Mr Gaines, Reading, September 2011

I liked the space and private gardens to sit out for breakfast.Easy access to Mevagissey and St. Austell.safe parking. In all the best of the 6 cottages we have rented through Sykes over the past 3 month of our holiday from Australia. Fantastic cottage

Very comfortable, warm and cosy. Convenient for the gardens we visited and the coast. The sunlight in the building was beautiful.
