We had a fabulous time, The apartment was spotless with all facilities required for our stay, Only one little issue There was no areas safe for our two pampered pooches to be off lead which did spoil things a little in the afternoons not being able to sit outside and enjoy the warm weather as there was always the worry of our dogs security, All in all we did have a fantastic time, All the local beaches were all pretty local to Heron

  • "Heron was probably the best apartment we have stayed in."

It was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The downside was the lack of space outdoors to relax. Yes, there are picnic tables but they are not well placed or inviting. First impressions of the outdoor space was an unkempt look due to weeds and the keylock was very difficult to open.Inside, however, was immaculate which is the important thing. There were no recycling facilities. Don't forget to take your toilet paper....none in the apartment and a bit of a drive to the nearest shop. Moaning over! We had a wonderful two weeks in Heron. A good, quiet base for exploring Corwall and two pubs/restaurants within walking distance.

  • "Lovely modern apartment in a good location."

TV’s in every room was a bonus and there was everything we needed for a fabulous holiday. Great shower and everywhere was very clean. Only thing I would change is more comfortable pillows and duvet but this didn’t spoil our enjoyment of the apartment.

Close to all the main town and beaches throughout the Camel Estuary. Property on arrival was very clean, and very modern and comfortable throughout. Will my family and I look to return to this property over the coming years?….in short, Yes.

  • "Lovely comfortable property in a great location."

Overall we had a fantastic stay. Just 3 issues; 1). For a self-catering property there was not a lot of stuff to cater with, only one place setting per person which meant that the dishwasher had to be run once or twice a day, no spatula, no colander and a few other things that we had to go and buy to cook with/in. 2). Heating, not sure how it worked, but it did seem to most of the time. The lack of radiators made it very difficult to dry wet towels (beach, bath or kitchen) and boots/shoes. The radiator in the bathroom never seemed to come on (so had a permanently wet bath/shower mat). 3). No facility to recycle anything. Have stayed in other properties in Cornwall where bags for different types were provided, why not here?

The owner of the properties lives near by and is absolutely lovely. I am looking forward to my return as he has some great ideas like an onsite coffee shop etc. The facilities are very modern and clean with Freeview and all you need when at home relaxing. It is close to pretty much everywhere and made day trips easy and hassle free. We cannot recommend enough and will definitely be returning. Thank you for having us x

  • "There was no dressing table facility or mirror at eye level to sit down and dry hair and apply make up - important for a woman."

A larger bed ie not standard double would have been better and the single beds were extremely hard. The weather was hot so a fan would also be an added bonus

  • "The apartment was spotlessly clean and perfect size for family of 4."

Picnic tables outside were a bonus with the beautiful weather we had. Well located although difficult to walk anywhere apart from one pub (narrow, busy road) Could do with a few more plates etc. Having only 4 of everything means you have to wash up all the time. Ice cube tray would be useful. Better organised recycling facilities would be appreciated.

  • "The apartment was almost brand new and had everything we needed to make it an enjoyable stay."

As we spent a lot of evenings inside, having a TV with all the apps on (Netflix, Amazon Prime etc) was a godsend and there are TVs in the bedrooms as well. St Issey is a very small village with no shop. There is a pub but it was still closed whilst we were there (beginning of May 2021). Everything is a drive away which was not too difficult for us, but families with children may want to be closer to the beach. The only downside was the tiny standard size double bed, we're used to something bigger! It's also quite difficult to find these apartments as they are through a small housing development with building work going on around. A small sign would be useful.

  • "Perfect place to stay whilst in Cornwall."

We was pleasantly surprised with how lovely it was. A very modern apartment which provides comfort and makes you feel at home. Very clean and spotless. Brilliant location and owner was always around if you needed anything. The only negative we could point out was they we would have liked more kitchenware as this was limited, but not the end of the world. Would highly recommend and return :)

Accommodation had all modern appliances, hoover, dishwasher, hairdryer, iron, washing machines, tvs. Furnishings were all great. Carparking on site (slightly tight on accessing when full). Only minor negative feedback was only 1 x toilet roll left for 4 people for a week. Knives in kitchen ( in knife block were not sharp) and small mirrors in bedroom would have been handy. Ideal base to explore North Cornwall. I'm would highly recommend this accommodation. Nice local pubs Ring O'Bells and Pickwick near by.
