The property

Ideally located just outside the village of Crackington Haven, close to an array of stunning sandy beaches, this lovely, semi-detached stone cottage offers comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting with walks trailing directly past the front door.

Driving down the typical Cornish country lane to Crackington Haven, you will arrive at a cluster of superb barn conversions, of which The Old Cider Press is the first you come to.

Park opposite the cottage, next to the tennis court, and take the few stone steps up to the patio, into the hallway and then continuing into the sociable open plan living room with a kitchen, dining and sitting areas.

There are two comfy bedrooms to choose from, including a double and one with full-size single bunk beds.

A thoughtful extra provided for your use is a computer and printer should you wish to print a copy of your day’s excursions, directions or details on one of the wonderful walks nearby, which range from simple strolls through the surrounding moorland to the spectacular coastal walks of the South West Coastal Path.

Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the gently sloping beach of Crackington Haven rests in an enclosed bay, making it an ideal spot for families, whilst it is also a great place for watersports, popular with surfers and bodyboarders.

Although small, the village has a shop one mile from the cottage, which sells all you need on a day-to-day basis, as well as a bistro cafe and family pub should you fancy spending the evening out.
