Once a thriving tin mine, the reminders of Wheal Busy's industrial heritage are plain to see. The magical beachside village of St Agnes is a mere 5 miles away and for those who love riding the waves, the surfing resort of Perranporth is just 2 miles further up the coastal path. 11 miles to the west along this rugged shoreline lies St Ives and the land of Celtic myth and legend that is the Land's End peninsula. For those seeking a gentler day out, the cobbled streets of the cathedral city of Truro, with its shops, theatre, museums and restaurants, are a mere 5 miles away while a little further on is the winding river system of wooded creeks and inlets surrounded by renowned gardens, secluded beaches and pretty waterside villages.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet. The location of the property was ideal for our needs, as it was central to quite a few different locations which we wanted to visit. The size of the property was fantastic. As there was six of us we did not feel as though we were on top of each other. The overall experience was very relaxing. We would recommend this property to all our friends and families. We would also not hesitate to book this cottage again. We also found the owners to be very nice and friendly.
