"Jenny Wren was perfect for our need as a base for visiting the sights of Cornwall."
The property was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Close to local amenities we were able to visit the local pub and shop on foot. We would book the property again and would not hesitate in highly recommending it.

Jenny Wren is spotlessly clean, very well-equipped (absolutely everything you might need!) and surprisingly spacious - more so than the average holiday apartment. The hosts are friendly and helpful and go the extra mile to ensure you have a happy, comfortable stay.

"A wonderful place for a relaxing holiday."
Situated in a lovely Village, within walking distance of local pubs, shops and Par beach. Great base for walking South West Coast path and exploring Cornwall by car. We received a warm welcome from the owners who are lovely and genuine.
The accommodation is well equipped, with a beautiful garden and views to countryside.

"Jenny Wren was a very comfortable and welcoming property to holiday in, particularly as the weather was not kind to us being cold, windy and rainy on most days, but we were cosy and warm."
The views from the kitchen window are lovely across the garden and valley. The owners were helpful and easy to talk to. The pub is only a 5 min downhill walk as is the small village shop opposite. The beach is walkable too but you do need to take into account Tywardreath is set on a hill above Par. It is ideally located to visit both the north and south coasts too.

"Excellent holiday apartment for 2 in a quiet residential area of the village - hosts were perfect - there if needed but didn't intrude."
Ideal location for visiting Fowey, Polperro and Looe - St Austell also nearby, its brewery visitor centre is highly recommended.
The excellent Eden Project is also located an easy drive away but be very careful about following your Sat Nav from the cottage as it might use lanes that are not suitable...
Par village has a Co-op, Spar, Post Office and the highly recommended Yummy Scrummy Bakery Café.

nothing was too much trouble. We agree with all the comments left by previous guests praising the apartment and its owners. The bus services were reliable and convenient meaning that the car could, in the main be left on the premises and places visited on the bus. A great asset in an area where parking is difficult and expensive. Excellent local pub within walking distance.

The views from the kitchen window are amazing. We were very lucky to have good weather and were able to sit out in the very pretty garden most days. Even if it is windy the garden is sheltered, it was still very warm.
Our hosts were very pleasant and welcoming. Their cottage is modern and a home from home, we could not fault anything. The kitchen had every amenity (except a washer) The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a good sized shower . We loved it and will be booking again.
We were very busy visiting local places but there is still so much to see and do.
