Follow the Camel Trail to Padstow or Bodmin, or travel 16 miles down the road to vibrant Newquay. The immediate area has several gardens of distinction and stately homes to explore; Lanhydrock House (NT), Pencarrow House and Garden and Prideaux Place are all within a 20 minutes drive, and are well worth a visit.
