The sandy beaches of Bossiney, Trebarwith Strand and Crackington Haven are all within 5 miles and the surfing beaches at Bude and Polzeath are within easy driving distance. Close at hand lie the delights of Tintagel, swathed in the legends of King Arthur, several stately homes and renowned gardens, or the wide open space of Bodmin Moor, famous for its granite tors and Daphne Du Maurier’s Jamaica Inn.

A lovely holiday cottage situated in a residential area at the top of Boscastle, a village on the North Cornwall coast. This Boscastle cottage is tastefully furnished with a nautical theme throughout and provides a bright, cheerful holiday home for groups and families to enjoy a seaside getaway. Downstairs in this Boscastle cottage there is a comfortable sitting room, a well-equipped fitted kitchen with dining area overlooking the garden and a cloakroom. Upstairs there is a king-size double bedroom, a twin room and small room with a child’s sofa bed. The rear garden of this Boscastle cottage is enclosed and provides a safe place to relax, ideal for a BBQ. The pretty harbour village of Boscastle is a 20 minute downhill walk from the cottage, where there are gift shops, cafes and pubs, and where visitors can stroll down past the whitewashed thatched cottages to the harbour, or venture to The Lookout, a fabulous vantage point to view the beautiful rugged coastline. There are numerous walks along the South West coastal path in the area around Boscastle, along which are several pretty coves including Trebarwith Strand, Crackington Haven and Bossiney. At low tide these reveal sandy beaches with rock pools where it is easy to while away a day with beach activities. A lovely Boscastle holiday cottage in a pretty little Cornish harbour village.
