Previous visitors' comments about The Farmhouse:
The cottage was fantastic! Lovely from the outside and in a lovely location for a countryside getaway. We were a group of ten and really enjoyed getting together around the big dining table and around the fire. The neighbors were very helpful in recommending pubs and restaurants and providing us with enough wood for the fire! Everybody in our party loved the cottage and it really helped make our weekend what we wanted it to be. Thank you for a wonderful stay, it was a brilliant weekend that none of us will ever forget. I will definitely recommend The Farmhouse.

Warm and welcoming. Plenty of room for a family Christmas. Very quiet situation. Pigs to feed was a bonus. Local town well supplied with shops. Loved historic feel of the house - the uneven floors and beams. Wood burning stove very good.
Mrs Everitt, Tavistock, December 2011
We loved the authentic feel of the Farmhouse with its original features and we think the decor is really homely and comfortable. It would be ruined if it was modernised too much! The grounds are beautiful and very well looked after.

A great farmhouse. The neighbours were very helpful and invited the children to help clean out and groom their horses. The children loved exploring the gardens. We had a great time here and can certainly recommend the Farmhouse to other families looking for a holiday home with lots of character and comfort.
