We were a party of ten adults and 2 young children. We agreed that we could not fault Chipping House. The location, the accommodation, the provision of kitchenware, glassware etc, were excellent. The children (and adults) made great use of the 'playroom' with all the games and toys they found there. The added touches of hair driers in rooms, clear instructions and directions for use of facilities all made Chipping House an ideal destination for our gathering. The owner was most welcoming and accommodating of the needs of our party. We would not hesitate to recommend it to friends.

Excellent property in a lovely village. Had great meals in the Swan, Star and Royal Oak. Would definitely recommend this property and we will be happy to use Sykes Cottages again.

Although it is a large house it has a very homely feel, and we particularly loved the 'children's lounge' with the books, jigsaw puzzles and games, which were made very good use of!
The piano in the adult lounge was much enjoyed also, and we had lots of fun singing from the 'songs from the 70s' book!
The Emperor bedroom is beautiful!
