    • “Excellent cottage in a wonderful area”

    • “Previous reviews say it all. Probably the best cottage we've ever stayed in with everything within well thought out and nothing missing. The hosts provide a pleasant welcome along with the 'goodies' mentioned in other reviews. Can't fault the cottage or the location with so much of the best of England and Wales all within reach.”

    • “This two bedroomed cottage, set in a tranquil setting down a quiet lane is a perfect getaway. Well equipped, esp the kitchen, with lovely garden to sit out in. There is also an excellent pub 400 yds away”

    • “Ideally situated, charming cottage”

    • “A great welcome from the owners with a homemade cake, wine, eggs, milk and flowers. The cottage is like a tardis as from the outside it looks dainty but get inside and you are in a large living room, then then rough to a kitchen/dining room then through to a good sized bathroom and hallway. The kitchen is very well equipped and I cooked a couple of meals without having to search for utensils etc. Upstairs there are two good sized bedrooms, one a double and one a twin. We are both quite tall, hubby being 6ft 5in but the sloping roof over the bed was never an issue and we didn't have one bumped head all week! The upstairs loo and wash basin are a great idea and the space has been used fantastically well. The gardens are beautifully kept and I am very envious of the owners gardens, which are immaculate. We ate one night at the local pub/restaurant, The Bennett's End. The food was gorgeous (see review on Tripadvisor). This cottage is stunning and in a fabulous part of the country with loads of places to visit. Try going to some of the smaller places such as Much Wenlock and Church Stretton and especially Ludlow. Go on market days for even more choice of goods to buy. I would definitely stay here again as the place is so charming.”

    • “We really enjoyed our week staying at Little Orchard Cottage. The cottage was very well equipped, comfortable and a real home from home. The cottage is in an lovely peaceful area and was a great base for visiting the local attractions and towns. The owners were very welcoming and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. The children loved the lambs in the nearby field, they were sad to leave the cottage after a wonderful week.”

    • “Well equipped cottage in peaceful location at reasonable weekly”
    • tripadvisor rating
    • “The owners were very welcoming and provided lots of little extras ie wine, cake, eggs and milk. The cottage had everything that you could possibly need to self-cater, and it was set in a rural and pretty location. There was plenty to do/see in the surrounding area, plus lots of good walks, and, amazingly, although it was October, the weather was great. The last few nights were colder, so the wood burning stove was most welcome. The only negative, and this was due to there being cows in an adjoining field, was that on one night, one of the bedrooms was beseiged by flies- these were easily dealt with by the fly spray provided. Check the rooms well before you retire as that allows time for any spray used to dissipate, and the hoover to be employed, before you go to bed.”

    • “One of the most beautiful, comfortable and peaceful holiday cottages my family have stayed at, Little Orchard cottage comes highly recommended. It is spaceous, tastefully decorated and superbly equipped. The owners were extremely helpful and the welcome pack was a sweet touch (what a fantastic cake!). As for the location, well, what can I say? Shropshire is one of the most beautiful counties in England - ideal for those that love nature and the great outdoors.”

    • “The owners greeted us on arrival informing us about the local facilities etc while our grandchildren went exploring the cottage. It was our granddaughters birthday the day we arrived and to our surprise a cake was on the table when we entered the kitchen. The cottage was just what we wanted with everything available and a good location to explore Shropshire. Ironbridge with its museums was our grandchildrens favourite. Could not fault the accommodation.”

    • “a lovely comfortable cottage to come back to after a good day's sightseeing, places were quite close, and beautiful and central to where we were staying,we had a lovely time but prehaps would pick one of your cottages closer to a small town or village as the cottage even though it was lovely a little remote.”

    • “We have stayed in many cottages over the years but I can truly say none have been as well fitted out as this cottage. Everything you could want had been provided, really a home from home. In a really peaceful location but easy to get to lots of nearby places. The views from the windows were amazing. Loved being able to light the wood burner and sit snug relaxing at the end of the day. The owners were on hand if needed but were in no way intrusive. We hope to return very soon.”

    Mrs Nicklin, Dorchester, May 2015

    • “A well equipped and comfortable cottage. The owners lived nearby and were welcoming and not obtrusive. A good base for our excursions and one of the few places around with a phone signal. There was a good friendly local pub and restaurant nearby with good locally sourced food.”

    Mrs Povey, Wirral, March 2015

    • “Just returned from a wonderfully relaxing week at Little Orchard Cottage - it was in an excellent location and was very well appointed with everything we could ask for. The wood burner made for a very cosy atmosphere for a couple of nights in. The owners are very friendly - there if you need them, but equally left us to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the week. We will definitely be recommending to family & friends and hope to return again ourselves at some point.”

    Mrs Harvey, Ipswich, February 2015

    • “This was a great cottage and the owners had thought of everything we could possibly need. Fantastic and well thought out.”

    Mrs Caddick, Chorley, February 2015

    • “A home away from home. The large lounge was a great space for our two children (4 and 7 months) and all the little touches made it a very enjoyable stay. Ludlow and the surrounding areas are beautiful. The cottage was very well equipped and modern, everything we needed was provided, plus the wood burning fire is a very nice bonus. A really really nice cottage and location, and we will certainly be recommending it to friends and family.”
