The owner lives next door and personally welcomes visitors.

Two ground floor bedrooms: 1 x king-size double (zip & link, can be made up as a twin by prior arrangement) with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x double. Ground floor bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Fitted kitchen with separate dining area. Delightful sitting room with futon sofa bed, ‘living flame’ effect fire and exposed beams. Access to the cottage is via 3 external stone steps to the first floor kitchen.

Enclosed lawned garden with garden furniture and BBQ. Off road parking. One well-behaved pet welcome. Stabling for horses available, capacity varies seasonally. Shop 3 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: River close by, children need to be supervised. Note: It is accessed via a half mile of narrow farm track and two cattle grids. Note: Check in time at this property is 4pm.

The pretty little town of Cleobury Mortimer is situated in the rural heart of South Shropshire. The town offers a refreshing selection of individual shops, pubs and restaurants, but is most famous for its unique church, which has a peculiar crooked steeple. The historic market towns of Bridgnorth and Ludlow (with its superb castle) and the famous World Heritage Site of Ironbridge are all within easy reach. There is excellent walking locally in the Clee Hills and the Wyre Forest, and horseriding, golf and fishing are available close by.
