Ludlow 6 miles.
The peaceful hamlet of Hope Bagot quietly nestles on the southern slopes of Titterstone Clee Hill, surrounded by glorious rolling countryside and an exciting variety of birds and wildlife. The historic market town of Ludlow, situated on the River Teme, is just 6 miles away and boasts nearly 500 listed buildings and original medieval street patterns. Renowned for its shopping, Ludlow offers a number of antique shops, art and craft shops and more Michelin-starred restaurants than anywhere outside of London, as well as numerous tea shops, pubs and inns. The town's regular street markets, held in the shadow of the castle, also showcase a range of goods from cheeses and fresh produce to books and local crafts. The castle itself is over 900 years old and contains fascinating examples of architecture. Within easy reach of Church Stretton, Shrewsbury and Hereford, as well as popular attractions such as the Ironbridge Gorge, the Severn Valley Railway, Berrington Hall and Cardingmill Valley, this superb location has much to offer all year round.

Previous visitors' comments about Little Orchard Cottage:
Quiet location but areas of interest were easily accessible. The surrounding countryside was breathtaking, and the welcome from the owners was brilliant.
Mrs Jones, Gillingham, October 2011
It was a lovely place to relax and recharge your batteries away from the
hustle and bustle of work etc. The
cottage was lovely and the little added
extras provided by the owners were a
very nice added bonus.
Mrs Salmon, Mansfield, October 2011
A beautiful cottage and location. The owners gave a very warm welcome and a very thoughtful supply of goodies. The cottage has everything you would need, with a home from home feeling. The cottage is in a fantastic area with only a short trip to Ludlow town. What more could you want!
