This Leighton cottage has two light and airy bedrooms, plus an oak fitted kitchen and lovely living area. The farmland offers views of the Long Mountain and the majestic Wrekin Hill (1335’ high), and is surrounded by breathtaking countryside. The walk from this Leighton cottage up to the Wrekin Hill is essential. A perfect location for discovering this part of Shropshire, other attractions to enjoy are the world famous Ironbridge Gorge, the towns of Much Wenlock and Shrewsbury, Wroxeter Roman City, various NT properties and the stunning South Shropshire Hills. The owners were very welcoming, providing us with a cake on arrival. The fire was already stocked up and roaring away for us getting there. The owner also kept us well stocked up on fresh supplies of wood every day. The log fire was particularly lovely.
