The lovely host Brendan was very helpful, he met us on our very late arrival to bring us and our luggage down to the lodge in a golf buggy and had the wood burning hot tub already warmed for us. The lodge was very clean and well equipped and it stayed lovely and warm due to the underfloor heating. Relaxing in the hot tub looking out over the lake was beautiful and peaceful. We were made to feel so welcome , from the initial buggy ride with our luggage down to the lodge to the moment we left . The lodges are beautiful, so cosy and warm , the setting is just beautiful , even in -2 degrees . The service was exemplary , our hot tub being pre heated was a very thoughtful idea , communication with the owners was outstanding throughout , only a short walk to the local pub which was also welcoming and the food was lovely , we thoroughly enjoyed our getaway and can’t wait to return . We have some lovely memories and photos we can’t wait to share with friends and family and would highly recommend a stay here whatever the season , Many thanks for making our get away such an enjoyable one .

The log cabins are warm comfortable and packed with everything we needed. The location is beautiful. No road noise just the sound of the birds chirping in the morning and the owl at night. While in the log burning hot tub we could enjoy the view of the lake in the day and by night the lovely stars in the sky. Location is great for walking and seeing the views around with the little village about a 15-20 minute walk. And by car the shops are 10mins away. Our customer service was 5 stars we had a buggy with all our stuff to the log cabin and help if we needed anything throughout our stay. I would full recommend.

Set in a beautiful spot although smaller than expected the Lodge itself had everything required and more. Very comfortable and designed with plenty of privacy from neighbours while indulging in luxury in a traditional hot tub fueled by a wood burner. The host after dropping you off at the lodge in his quirky designed golf cart ensured we had everything we need and pointed us in the right direction for any local shops for our supplies for the stay, along with enough documentation for all the local sites to see. The farm is located just outside a gorgeous little village only fifteen minutes walk where you can stop for a drink or a delicious meal in a beautiful pub all at very reasonable prices were all the staff along with the locals made us extremely welcome. All in all we both had a truly luxurious and lovely break. We would recommend this place to anyone who wants a lovely tranquil escape. We absolutely loved it.

30 we where there our hot tub was up and running for us which we didn't expect with it being such a last minute booking Everything went smoothly the owner came and took us to the lodge even though it was out of hours nothing was to much trouble for him he gave us the information we needed as to where the local pub was and what time it closed, unfortunately we didn't get to eat there as is doesn't serve food on Tuesdays but we still stayed and had few beers and then had a lovely 10 minute walk across the field back to our lovely peaceful lodge to enjoy the rest of our evening in the Hot tub which was ready for us to use by then. It's a very clean looked after site, rural and private so you don't get interrupted No children and pets allowed which was a bonus, don't get me wrong i love them both, we have 5 grandchildren but it's lovely just having some piece and quite The sitting area and the Hot Tub both have covers so if Unfortunately if it does rain you can still enjoy the beautiful outdoors You have access to netflix if needed but we never once switched the tv on We didn't need as the the outside was fantastic you get to use the bbq which also is your fire pit. Bed linen, Towels and Bath robes are included which was great You will not be disappointed with this place if all you want is rest. Can't wait to go back Thank you very much for a lovely stay we will definitely be coming back

This is a wonderful piece of feedback. Great to hear that the surrounding area provided you with enough entertainment that the TV did not have to be used. Here at Bridge Lake Farm and Fishery, we take great pride in the stunning surrounding scenery and our tranquil setting. Thank you for the appreciation, nothing is too much trouble when it comes to providing for our guests. We would love to see you in the future. Property Owner

We've just had 5 days of peace and quiet. My partner fished most of the day, whilst I lazily sat and listened to music, podcasts, read a book or just sat looking at the wonderful surroundings. The owner has thought of everything yourequire in the lovely little lodges. He even had our hot tub fired up ready for our first evening there. We were greeted with a friendly smile and a very helpful buggy to take us and lots of fishing tackle the 100yds down to our lodge. The local village was a quick walk away, through some fields via a public walkway, over a couple of wooden bridges over streams. Over all a blissful few days and we can highly recommend to any couple, who just want to kick back and relax A +++

You get the starter pack of wood included and it was £20 if you wanted more but it’s worth it as you get loads. The Acorn lodge does have a slanted roof so be mindful if you’re tall but this is shown in the listing & not a deal breaker for us. Wifi was really good! Hot tub & surroundings were lovely and the pub only a 5 min walk past the Alpacas. Would recommend! :)

All three men we met working were lovely and asked us how we were and if we ever needed anything if they saw us up by parking otherwise we were undisturbed. we were again met with the buggy to take stuff up to the car on day of departure so it was less time to pack the car which was great. overall a lovely tranquil place to stay with amazing hosts that are truly happy to help.

The hot tub was beautiful, stayed lovely and warm for a long time and was easy to heat up using the wood that you can purchase during your stay. The drive down to the lodges is quite long so if you are planning on walking anywhere be aware of that. The site owners are lovely and were super helpful, they even picked us and our luggage up so we didn't have to walk the full length of the drive. Brendan's hospitality was at the highest level, he made our stay very comfortable and without any problems, upon the arrival we've had our hot tub ready to jump in after the sent me a text message asking if i want to have it all heated up before we arrive, also he gave us some advice and helped us with setting up a fire pit to have our BBQ late at night. Not to mention Brendan has waited for us by the entrance gate and took us and our stuff to the lodge using his buggy which was unexpected but really and very kind of him. The lodge itself was very warm inside, very clean and tidy, it had everything we need and you can tell Brendan and people who are in charge of keeping the ground, lawn, lodge, garden and around the lake are very organised and tidy people. This was our first clamping experience and we're looking forward to visit Brendan and his Bridge Lake Farm and Fishery once again in the near future.

  • "We had such a lovely, peaceful break at Acorn Lodge."

Brendan went out of his way to help us throughout the stay, and was extremely accommodating, even texting on the day of our arrival to ask if we wanted him to get the hot tub ready for us to use when we arrived. If you're staying longer than one night you will definitely need more wood to keep the hot tub at a nice temperature, but you can purchase that through Brendan, we had a lot of logs at home so we brought our own. There is very minimal storage in the kitchen / lodge, so be mindful of how much food you take, the fridge is tiny, we took enough for a couple of meals then went shopping during our stay to top up, there are supermarkets within a 10 minute drive near Banbury so that wasn't a problem. The setting is super peaceful, and the lodges have all been designed with privacy in mind. We can't wait to return!

  • "We had an absolutely brilliant stay."

The pictures don't do Bridge Lake Farm the full justice it deserves! The cottage was absolutely spotless, with not an inch of dust we felt like we was the first to stay. The facilities are 10 out of 10. We was very surprised with the array of equipment already provided in the lodge ie full cutlery and crockery set, sharp knives ect was all fantastic quality. The BBQ/fire pit was a pleasure to use and comes cleaned an ready to fire up. The hot tub alone give the cottage an 10/10 very simple to use and preset for the next use. The lodge has a seating area with table and cover if you want to sit out in the night and the hot tub has a wooden partition and optional over head cover which makes it feel very covered when you want some privacy. The staff was so so friendly and welcoming when we arrived and was always a phone call or text away when needed. In all we had a fantastic stay and we will certainly be returning on a yearly basis. Couldn't be more happier with our week stay!

It went so far above our expectations. We relieved a lovely text from them in the morning of arrival asking if we wanted them to start the hot tub so it would be ready for when we arrived. Staff very friendly and helpful and the surroundings are absolutely stunning, not forgetting the lodge it is very homely and cosy and pretty spacious. The smell of a wood fire as your in the hot tub is just amazing not forgetting how peaceful it is. Would 100% recommend if your looking for a nice little relaxing break

  • "I really enjoyed my 2 night stay."

Brendan (owner) texted the night before i was due to arrive to ask if he should get the hot tub ready... I had been a little nervous about getting the hot tub going so i was more than grateful. I received promptly clear information regarding getting to and accessing the property. When i arrived the keys were not in the key box but Brendan was on site when i rang him and came gave me the key and transported me and my luggage down the hill to the lodge. The lodge was lovely and clean and it is newly opened just 3 weeks. The bed was very comfortable. The owners provided everything i needed to be able cater for myself as well as details of the local pub and restaurants nearby. I couldn't get the channels working on the tv but that wasnt a major issue as i had my tablet with me and their WiFi was fine. There are 3 lodges and while together on open land each is situated offering privacy. Beautiful views of the lake can be enjoyed from the lodges or from the outdoor seating areas. You can use the fire pits to keep warm or have a barbecue. On my way to check out i was about to tackle the slope with my bags but Brendan saw this and came to my rescue and drove me back up to where my car was parked. I came alone for a change of scenery from the lockdowns. However i would recommend this place for a group of friends.
