Bewdley 5 miles; Cleobury Mortimer 6 miles.
The small, rural village of Button Bridge quietly nestles in the beautiful countryside of South Shropshire between Bridgnorth and Bewdley. Just a short drive away, beneath the shadow of the mystical Clee Hills, the pretty town of Cleobury Mortimer provides a refreshing selection of shops, pubs and restaurants in an array of Georgian and Tudor architecture and a striking parish church with an unusual, twisted spire. Enjoy excellent walking, golf and fishing in the surrounding Clee Hills and nearby Wyre Forest. The market town of Bridgnorth, with its winding streets and infamous castle ruins is within easy reach, presenting an ideal opportunity for a trip on the Severn Valley Railway, while the medieval town of Ludlow, with its superb 13th century castle, fascinating antique shops and choice of Michelin-starred restaurants is well worth a visit. Discover the Ironbridge Gorge Museum, visit Stokesay Castle, or spend a day at the West Midland Safari Park. There is plenty to see and do, for all the family.

Previous visitors' comments about The Old Farmhouse Cottage:
The holiday home we stayed in was excellent and the owner was very friendly, nothing was to much trouble for him. We had a lovely time there. We were very comfortable and my husband enjoyed the fishing. We really hope to go again at some point in time.
Mrs Aston, Birmingham, September 2012
Very friendly place, lovely gardens. Love the ducks and birds. Swimming pool very welcome, situated in a lovely area. The owner was very hospitable. Bed huge; best sleep for years.
Mr Cullinane, London, September 2012
The fact that the property was secluded and the owner was very friendly and a pleasant man. The quiet was great, as we have noisy neighbours at home, so that was brilliant. The bed was very comfortable and the cottage was very central to lots of attractions.
Mrs Collings, Plymouth, August 2012
The fishing lake. The garden. The location. The double bed was the best bed I have come across in a rental cottage.
