A group of four charming cottages set down a farm lane in the grounds of the owner's home on Shirley Farm, close to the ancient village of Meriden in Warwickshire. These delightful ground floor cottages have been carefully created from old farm buildings offering comfortable furnishings, well-equipped kitchens, sitting rooms with comfy seating and a dining area to seat all guests, ideal for relaxing or catching up with friends over dinner. Outside is a communal garden with furniture from where amazing long distant views of the surrounding countryside can be enjoyed. The grounds contain a beautiful pond, separated from the communal garden by a fence, which is well-stocked with fish. Guests are able to fish in this pond by arrangement with the owner. Take a trip into the village and enjoy a home-cooked meal at one of the two village pubs, or pick up local produce at the farm shop. Many walks can be enjoyed from the doorstep or hop in the car and visit a National Trust property, Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare's birthplace, Warwick with its magnificent castle or enjoy a round of golf, spend a day fishing or a tour around the many unspoilt Cotswold towns and villages close by.
