    • “What a truly beautiful cottage. Great hosts. Great amenities, all angles covered. Would highly recommend. BE warned no internet coverage and limited phone signal too. Loved every minute. Shrewsbury, Church Stretton, Cardingmill valley, Ludlow.. all beautiful. Proud to be british.”

    • “We were welcomed shortly after arrival. The cottage was very well appointed, clean and tidy. It was a tasteful conversion of the cow house with some interesting features retained. The location was good and we were warm very comfortable. We picked this cottage as it had an enclosed lawned area so we were sure our dog would be safe. We would go back but earlier in the year, as the weather in October was far from good.”

    • “Lovely modernised barn turned cottage. Homely, cosy feel with modern conveniences. Everything there you could wish for, for a luxurious stay. The one thing I would criticise is the pool, because it is freezing even at the height of summer and there are only ladders to get down. If you have a disabled person there are no steps and handrail to help. It is ideal for children though. Lovely owners next door if there are any problems, there were none for us. Immaculately clean so on the whole excellent cottage.”

    • “Stayed here with our 3 dogs. They loved the garden and we loved the cottage. It was well placed for visiting places like Ludlow and Ironbridge. Lack of wifi was a problem. We enjoyed our stay. The lemon drizzle cake was delicious!”

    • “Tranquil, peaceful holiday”

    • “Immaculate well presented cottage with everything one needed to make our stay very pleasurable. The only negative was there were no walks from the cottage as there were no footpaths. However it was easy to get to Much Wenlock, Ludlow, Bridgenorth & Shrewsbury & Ironbridge. Ironbridge is a beautiful small town & well worth a visit.”

    • “The Cow House is all you can expect from a good quality cottage, we have stayed in many cottages, and this one is up with the best of them. Only saw the owners wife once, the day after we moved in, but we were made welcome with cake and milk etc, a nice touch. Lovely views and a great location for exploring the area. Ludlow is well worth a visit. Only downside is the distance from a pub (we like a stroll) and shops. Thouroughly reccommended!”

About the location

Much Wenlock 6 miles; Bridgnorth 8 miles.

Weston is a small rural hamlet in Shropshire, surrounded by rolling farmland. Weston nestles in the lovely Corve Dale Valley, overlooked by the impressive Wenlock Edge and is only 6 miles from Much Wenlock, a delightful 700-year old market town on the north east end of the famous Wenlock Edge, in the heart of the beautiful Shropshire countryside. Much Wenlock is filled with a patchwork of twisting streets, half timbered buildings, limestone cottages, speciality shops, quality pubs and restaurants, and is the home of the modern Olympic Games, founded by Dr William Penny-Brookes in 1850. Stroll around the remains of the magnificent 12th Century Priory, the 16th Century Guildhall, the interesting Norman church and the Old Gaol House. Above the town rises the 15 mile long Wenlock Edge, boasting glorious views and excellent walking, cycling and riding. Nearby are the medieval towns of Bridgnorth, home of the delightful Severn Valley Railway, Shrewsbury and Ludlow, the World Heritage Centre of Ironbridge with nine museums and Blists Hill Victorian Village, plus Stokesay Castle and the historic Acton Scott Farm, as seen on TV.
