The attractive market town of Bewdley, once described as "the most perfect Georgian town in Worcestershire", sits on the banks of the River Severn, and is close to the medieval Wyre Forest, with its many walks and cycle trails. Bewdley offers much to delight visitors, with a good choice of pubs, cafes and restaurants along the riverside, many tiny shops, antique and craft galleries, and all surrounded by beautiful countryside with gentle rolling hills, steep wooded valleys and meandering rivers offering many opportunities to discover a rich diversity of wildlife. This property has restored my faith in holidays in this country. The cabin was homely, clean and luxurious, with everything needed for the stay. Outside was amazing, the decking was enormous with a selection of seating areas, and a great gas barbecue, we rarely sat inside. The location was perfect, just a few minutes from the lovely town of Bewdley, but it felt like the middle of nowhere because it was so peaceful by the river. The steam railway was great to get to the town or explore further up the line. Would give this property 5 stars, and recommend to anyone for a comfortable and relaxing holiday.

Mrs Franklin, Chatteris, August 2013

We loved the amazing location, the beautiful garden, the calm and gorgeous cabin itself. It was so quiet and peaceful, brilliant to just sit back and de-stress. The kids loved watching the river animals and the occasional boater. We all enjoyed the hot tub.

Miss Cleeves, Reading, May 2013

The lodge was quirky, which we both liked. It was also in a lovely location - calm, secluded, and picturesque.
