A wonderful character house, set in some lovely countryside with its’ own private indoor heated swimming pool; it’s a superb place for a family get-together, a celebration or even a gathering with friends.

From the hallway, there are rooms to the left and the right of the house with a grand staircase leading upstairs.

To the left is a large sitting room with plenty of comfy seating and a woodburning stove to relax in front of after a full day of activities inside the house or out and about in the surrounding areas.

To the right is the well-equipped kitchen with a good-sized dining table, making a good social place to prepare and enjoy some home-cooked meals, along with a separate dining room.

There is a second sitting room with more seating and even a piano, for the musicians in the party.

Leading from the kitchen takes you to the large indoor heated swimming pool with a gym, sauna and a hot tub to enjoy, making a fantastic place for pool parties or even for those who enjoy some daily exercise.

The swimming pool and other leisure facilities can also be reached via a spiral staircase from the family bedroom suite.

Upstairs to the left are one king-size double with en-suite shower room and one super king-size double that can be converted into two singles if required, also with an en-suite.

To the right are another one king-size double bedroom and a super king-size double bedroom that can also be converted into a twin, plus there’s a separate bathroom.

There is also a family suite with a king-size bedroom with its’ own TV and DVD leading through to a further room with a twin, which is zip/link and can be a king-size double also, as well as an en-suite large bathroom.

Also from the suite views over the swimming pool can be seen.

From the suite you can take the spiral stairs down to the hot tub, sauna and gym area.

To the back of the house are some fantastic large lawned gardens with a good-sized patio and plenty of seating throughout; a terrific place for family games or even just for the kids to let off some steam.

Leading horseracing trainers live in the area and you will often see horses being walked past the house as part of their daily training.

From the house is some lovely countryside and plenty of walking and cycling opportunities.

For the more energetic you can join the Heart of England Way, which is 100 miles of recreational walking between Milford in the north and Bourton on the Water in the Cotswolds.

Also there is the Arden Way which is a 26 mile circular walk in the Forest of Arden Area in Warwickshire.

A short drive takes you to the town of Alcester with a good selection of public houses, restaurants and a varied range of shops, or you can visit the National Trust property Coughton Court and Ragley Hall.

Further afield will take you to the historical town of Stratford-upon-Avon on the banks of the River Avon with plenty of excellent shops, bars and restaurants and its home to the Royal Shakespeare Company.

For something different you can always take a trip on the river including cruises, rowing and motorboat rides.
