  • "Fabulous property with all the features you need."

Very comfortable bed & lovely furnishings to make you feel at home. Great kitchen features with good appliances. Loved the bath & little extra touches like dog & welcome pack. Felt very warm & cosy, despite coming away in January with frost outside. Beautiful bit of the countryside with lovely gardens. Great enclosed paddock and fields beyond, which was great for dog. Such welcoming hosts, who were on hand if you had any issues.

It was a pleasure to host you both with Briar, whose inexhaustible energy and happy temperament should be bottled and marketed for the weary like me who need a January boost. I am so relieved that it didn’t rain during your stay! We have had thin ice on the pond this week so you chose your week well. Property Owner

Super en suite with huge bath very much appreciated. Anne and Ed could not have been more welcoming and helpful hosts. Their friendliness really made my Christmas break.

It was lovely to meet you and Lottie and to spend some time with you over Christmas. And thank you for your kind comments about your bathroom - I am quite proud of it! Property Owner

It ticked all our needs especially the dog walks in the local fields and woods . The property owners Anne and Ed greeted us on arrival and departure and could not have been more helpful with assistance and knowledge of the local area . Many thanks for the birthday card and gift.

Thank you so much for your positive comments and I hope that the north Cotswolds met with your expectations. I am sorry that we were so busy ourselves that we hardly saw you and Cooper and to share a little more of Nicky’s milestone birthday. I am so relieved that it didn’t rain all the time you were here and thank you for choosing CH Annexe Property Owner

  • "Our second stay at Chadbury House Annexe."

Lovely spacious grounds with a secure paddock that enabled lots of off lead runs for our rescue dog Chester. Very clean & comfortable accommodation with such welcoming hosts. Useful information provided on places to visit & eat in the area after a good night's sleep. We really enjoyed our anniversary meal out so thanks for the recommendation Ann & Ed & also for all you did for us during our stay.

Not at all, it was a pleasure to host you both and I am happy that you celebrated your anniversary here. It was lovely to see Chester sniffing around and bouncing around the paddock. I hope he hasn't found his voice permanently after his encounter with Donald - that robot lawn mower is really sinister, chomping quietly through the annexe lawn so I think I would start barking " Get off my manor" too. Enjoy your break in Norfolk! Property Owner

Made a big fuss of our dog, Ruby. The facilities for dogs are superb. Annexe was great with everything we needed. Had a really relaxing weekend and recommendations for dinner were both excellent. Definitely worth a trip to the local farm shop to get things for breakfast.

I am so pleased that you and Ruby enjoyed your stay here and your positive comments about the paddock. It’s great to see dogs off their leads bouncing around enjoying life. Property Owner

  • "We had excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble."

The property was everything we were expecting and not disappointed at all. The location was ideal for the days out we had planned, even the ongoing road works we were warned about was not a problem. The only problem was the road noise, having come from a sleepy quiet village this was very noticeable, but we would definitely go back.

We've stayed in many properties and this is one of our all time favourites.

Thank you very much for your kind review. The shower unit is really good ( and newish), British made in the Lakes and it always impresses. The bed is often commented upon so I am glad that you had a comfortable time. Property Owner

The apple juice and biscuits and dog treats were much appreciated, Thanks for a really lovely stay.

Honestly, your comments are very kind but it was an absolute pleasure to host you. You made the best of indifferent weather and accepted the largest number of access visits I have had to make with a smile. The annual gas boiler check, Leakbot wifi reconnection and finally, new batteries for the Leakbot! I was sad to wave Basil goodbye as he was so fluffy, engaging and funny. Property Owner

Spacious gardens and grounds that you can use, our dog loved it there. You can sit and watch the wildlife. Everything you could want is there for a comfortable holiday. The owners Anne and Ed were so helpful and welcoming. Really made us feel at home without being overbearing. The annex is clean and tidy, has a homely feeling. A lovely large comfortable bed, a great shower and bath in the ensuite. The property is perfectly positioned for exploring the Cotswolds. Great places to eat close by, which Anne and Ed told us about. We very much enjoyed our stay. Thankyou Anne and Ed.

Really nicely decorated and cosy. We appreciated having a washing machine and freezer - even though we didn't use them! Especially easy with a secure paddock to exercise the dog early and late and some great walks. Loved seeing deer visiting the garden and meeting them in surrounding fields! A really comfortable stay in lovely surroundings - hosts were friendly and helpful. We would happily return. Many thanks.

I am delighted to read your review and that you had a good break. The deer is still around and isn’t quite ready to join the herd on the BBC land. Sigh. Property Owner

  • "Owners very pleasant and friendly Nice area, road noise is an issue"

You were so unfortunate to stay during a spell of persistent rain with permanently grey skies. The small freezer was broken and has now been replaced , so thank you for making me aware of the problem. However, I was surprised to see what was for me a low feedback score. I will have to try harder but there is unfortunately nothing I can do about the road noise or Severn Trent carrying out a pipe renewal project which affects the traffic pattern. Property Owner

It's a lovely accommodation, was very comfortable and spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you could need. It especially caters well for dogs - the welcome pack even includes a little doggy goodie bag and there's a bowl and a dog towel just in case you forget. For our dog who is a nervous rescue and not yet ready to be let off the lead, the secure paddock was a huge bonus and so nice to see him have a proper run around! We would stay here again for sure!

The annexe was superb and the hosts very helpful and considerate. For me it was a time for R&R and this was easily achieved at Chadbury House. I also visited Evesham, Worcester and Malvern, places fairly near, but the Cotswolds are also close. Beware busy roads at peak times. The photos and description are accurate. The sofa is large and very comfortable. The stairs are steep (as described) but we are a fit 70 year old and an arthritic 65 year old and we managed well - the banister is secure and the staircase is well lit. There is a downstairs cloakroom equipped with a washing machine. The accommodation was in immaculate condition and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a fabulous stay and must say that it exceeded our expectations. The hosts are a delight, very friendly without being intrusive. We didn’t use the patio area but in good weather it would be a lovely place to sit and enjoy the garden. We hope to stay again when the weather is warmer.
