Location: North Piddle

Pershore 6 miles; Evesham 12 miles; Stratford-upon-Avon 17 miles; Broadway 18 miles.

North Piddle is a centrally located village in one of the most unspoilt areas of England famous for its Blossom Trail, and locally grown fruit and vegetables. Evesham, an historic market town, Droitwich Spa, with Britain's only natural brine spa, the outstanding Georgian architecture of Pershore, and Broadway, reputedly the most beautiful village in England are all only a short drive away. The magnificent Malvern Hills and Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare, plus numerous National Trust properties, Cheltenham Racecourse and the ancient mellow Cotswold villages are also within easy reach. Worcestershire's open countryside typifies rural England, and this spot was supposedly used as a model for BBC 4's The Archers. There are many lovely walks and cycle trails, museums and olde worlde pubs - something to suit all tastes, at any time of year.

Previous visitors' comments about The Hay Barn:

This was our second visit to The Hay Barn and it was twice as good as last year because we stayed twice as long! Our Hosts were very kind and friendly and the welcome basket was perfect! Can't wait to visit again and hopefully with our Family from USA also.

Lovely stay and we were made very welcome when we arrived. Accommodation fabulous - would highly recommend.

This was the best holiday accommodation we have ever been to and far exceeded our expectations. We were very comfortable, able to relax and felt totally at home. Our hosts made us feel so welcome. In fact, we have changed our minds about a cruise next year to come back to the Hay Barn for two weeks! Considering we only have two weeks vacation a year that's saying something!
Mr Brennan, Tualatin, September 2011

What a lovely restful time we enjoyed at The Hay Barn. The owners could not have been more welcoming, and the provision of the essentials was a very thoughtful touch. We would certainly recommend The Hay Barn. As a family of five, the cottage gave us ample space inside and out, and was ideally suited for exploring the local area. Thanks a million.
