North Piddle is a centrally located village in one of the most unspoilt areas of England famous for its Blossom Trail, and locally grown fruit and vegetables. Evesham, an historic market town, Droitwich Spa, with Britain's only natural brine spa, the outstanding Georgian architecture of Pershore, and Broadway, reputedly the most beautiful village in England are all only a short drive away. The magnificent Malvern Hills and Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare, plus numerous National Trust properties, Cheltenham Racecourse and the ancient mellow Cotswold villages are also within easy reach. Worcestershire's open countryside typifies rural England, and this spot was supposedly used as a model for BBC 4's The Archers. There are many lovely walks and cycle trails, museums and olde worlde pubs - something to suit all tastes, at any time of year.

This was the best holiday accommodation we have ever been to and far exceeded our expectations. We were very comfortable, able to relax and felt totally at home. Our hosts made us feel so welcome. In fact, we have changed our minds about a cruise next year to come back to the Hay Barn for two weeks! Considering we only have two weeks vacation a year that's saying something!
