"Key safe needs replacing."
TV volume set at 20 why?. Windows left slightly open, not found until Monday of stay. Heat wave previous week not this week heating could have been on more due to changed weather.2 out of 3 lamps in kitchen light out, believe should have been replaced by change over team. Overall a very comfortable and well appointed cottage,.

"THE COTTAGE IS NICELY FURNISHED AND BEDS ARE COMFORTABLE."
HOWEVER, THERE WERE SOME HOUSEHOLD ISSUES THAT NEEDED ATTENTION, E.G. (1) OUTFLOW OF BATHROOM BASIN WAS BLOCKED and should have been attended to before we moved in., TELEPHONED CONTACT BUT UNFORTUNATELY REPAIR WASN'T POSSIBLE AS PLUMBERS WERE UNAVAILABLE. (2) VACUUM CLEANER DIDN'T PICK-UP, (3) TV REMOTES AND INSTRUCTIONS POOR, (4) CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO ACCESS PROPERTY PARKING NEEDED.

"Lovely comfortable house."
...we loved our stay.....the lights in the living room are too low....my husband kept banging his head on them....also the tv is a bit iffy too...we couldn't get it working past one station.

"Well placed cottage for touring around, good Spa shop just down the road, safe garden for our dog."
Comfortable and well equipped property, tv remotes need attention, upstairs TV not working, otherwise no complaints, would recommend.

"Generally fine, but: 1."
Heating. We were asked not to touch heating controls, but not all radiators seemed to work. We were cold. Luckily we had brought a blanket with us to sit under on the settee. 2. Cleanliness. We found sugar spilt in one cupboard in kitchen. Not much, but not welcoming. 3. Information on bins (what to do about rubbish collection) not in house. We had to phone caretaker.

"A comfy well equipped cottage in a great location."
Can easily walk to the beach and harbour from the cottage and such a wonderful drive along the coast road in any direction.

"Details of the parking round the back were not clear and it was difficult when arriving in the dark."
-
"A very pleasant house with great views and situated near the fishing port."
The house is comfortable, well maintained, well equipped, and very clean. The pack of goodies was a nice touch, as I arrived quite late in the evening. Many thanks, and I'm considering another visit during next year.

"Lovely place to holiday in Northern Ireland."

"The cottage is clean, spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you would need for a week's stay."
The toilet however has a tendency to block which has been reported to the owner on previous occasions. It does unblock after a while but needs sorting! There's a very annoying low light fitment in the lounge which other visitors have also banged their heads on. The owner really needs to acknowledge client feedback and do something about it. The location is stunningly beautiful, but be prepared to self cater during the week out of season as little if no restaurant food available in the town - or travel 20mins to Cushendall which is what we did.

"Bathroom floor freezing."
A washable rug would be good. A few more plates and cutlery would mean less dishwasher runs but overall very comfortable and well placed

"Beautiful, spotless " bijou" home, very tasteful decor."
Every provision provided. Only problem was that the heat/smoke alarm went off 4 or 5x during stay. This happened mostly after a shower had been taken, for less than 8 minutes. Eventually we just switched off the hot water boiler. The other times were during routine cooking, but with nothing being burned or overused. 2 hob plates. We mentioned this as directed, but no technician appeared. Otherwise, a beautiful property in lovely location. Near shops, beach and country walks.

"Lovely little house Handy for beach and other nice walks Harbour area lovely"

"We found Cranny Corner to be a perfect location for exploring the coastline and walking in the glens."
It is close enough to visit Belfast and the Titanic experience plus the fantastic Giant’s Causeway and Londonderry. The only slight criticism would be that some of the saucepans were too damaged to use, but otherwise the cottage was well furnished and clean. The small welcome pack was a nice touch, thank you.

"Cranny Corner was a delightful cottage and we had a very enjoyable stay there"

"We found Cranny Corner to be very clean, beds were comfy and the shower was good."
We would echo previous comments about lack of curtains in the bedroom, very creaky stairs and low hanging lights. We also found the kitchen equipment was lacking a few basics. The youths driving round passed the cottage to the car park nearby at night noisy - especially youth in the tractor which passed continually and while this is out-with the owners control, it did impact our stay.

"Fantastic house in a lovely friendly village."
The welcome pack was a nice touch and the starter pack for the dishwasher, washing machine was welcome. We will be returning. Thanks for a wonderful stay

"House clean and utensils of quality standard."
Very quiet area despite being in the middle of an estate, We were disappointed there wasn’t a welcome pack or an open fire starter pack. The weather was during our Gale storms with high winds and torrential. So we felt our arrival didn’t have a welcome. We felt this very much because due to covid we brought our own sheets, towels, duvets and pillows. We were also quite disappointed of previous dog owner not cleaning up the three large dog poos right outside the patio door. Apart from that, the place was clean and tidy.

"This was our first visit to Carnlough, and won't be our last."
There was adequate on-road parking, either outside the house or just around the side, and although it's across the road from a small estate, it was generally very quiet. Furnishings and equipment were both of excellent quality - although the light shade in the front room should come with a 'low headroom' warning! Beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, crockery and other equipment. However, we did have to buy some pint glasses - strangely not the first time this has happened in holiday cottages. There was also nothing suitable in which to make glasses of squash etc for our daughter. We know there must regular breakages of such items, but a complete lack of them for visitors who aren't able to bring their own is a little inconvenient. We travelled far and wide during our stay and found the location very handy for the likes of Belfast and the Giant's Causeway. The area's roads are generally excellent and refreshingly quiet, and we'd also recommend a drive south along the A2 as far as the Mourne Mountains. It will be good when we return at a different time of year because then we hope all the local shops - especially the Morelli's ice cream parlour less than five minutes' walk away - will be open for longer hours! Just a general observation for visitors from the mainland - many of the local Spar stores in the area - of which there are quite a few - aren't licensed to sell alcohol, which dad found a little disconcerting. We will certainly be back to Cranny Corner - we are just trying to work out when we can fit it in!

"Overall, a really good holiday with lots to do in the local area."
The accommodations were excellent, with only one exception; there were no curtains at the bedroom windows, only Venetian blinds. This is ok in winter but not so much in June.

"A good dogfriendly house situated within a well serviced location."
This coastline location is highly recommended and we were overall pleased with the rental. More attention to detail at the rental would have improved our experience. Overall, a sucessful holiday!

"The house was very clean, tidy and well serviced."
The location excellent for exploring the East coastal road with its wide and varied attractions. The village was very clean and tidy and offered various small cafes and a couple of pubs. The local Spar had all the necessary groceries you would need. Larne is the nearest large town with major outlets. The locals were all friendly no matter where we were. Would highly recommend both Cranny Cottage and Northern Ireland as a holiday destination.

"Lovely house, just right for two or three people."
Well decorated and furnished. In a good place for exploring the Antrim Coast and not too far from Belfast. Handy to have a grocers at the bottoof the road. The weather changed as I arrived and the house was quite cold. But was helped by phoning the local contact who told me how to adjust the heating.
