  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house - 13 of us in total and plenty of room for everyone."

The gardens are lovely and we had frequent visits from hares! The bedrooms are spotlessly clean and beautifully presented and the kitchen and dining room had ample space. We found the laundry room really useful! Ireland is just beautiful and the people so friendly and helpful. This is an ideal touring base - we enjoyed days out to the Aran Islands, Galway City, the Cliffs of Moher and also local walks on the Burren and of course to Monks restaurant in the village and the local pub !

  • "Orchard House was outstanding and perfect for our extended Family’s Easter break."

We were all very satisfied with the attention to detail provided and could not have asked for more. The property had everything we could have possibly needed for our group of 10 adults and 4 children under 7. The bedrooms were all superb and we liked that some king sized double rooms had an additional single bed which we were able to use for the children. We also liked that all the rooms were en suite with plenty of baths as well as showers. The kitchen also provided everything we needed for preparing meals e.g. measuring scales , sieves etc. We have no complaints at all ; thank you so much for enabling us to have a superb stay in Ballyvaughan which we won’t forget.

  • "This was just the perfect place for the family gathering I had planned."

The location is superb, with so many visitor attractions only a short drive away. The house itself is very well appointed with no shortage of equipment or space for a large group to just relax and enjoy their time together. Karen was fabulous to deal with, I would definitely consider coming back here again and have no hesitation in recommending Orchard House for anyone considering a holiday in this incredibly beautiful part of the Wild Atlantic Way region of Ireland.

  • "We stayed in Orchard House for New year and can't say enough about it."

3 families, 15 in total and had plenty of space. The living area plus the kitchen were extra large and then with the dining room we all had loads of room for eating, resting and playing games! The smart tv was great for the kids to watch their Netflix. The bedrooms were all beautifully laid out, with ensuites and large wardrobes. The garden was a good size and an added bonus. The garage had all the amenities to wash and dry clothes and also a few buckets and spades to borrow for the beach which is less than 5 minutes away. We had one issue with the heating and the owner of the house was easily contacted to sort same. The only thing is having no communal bathroom but with 7 ensuites there is no shortage either. Would recommend to anyone, great location, beautiful house. Overall excellent value for money.

It was incredible. My only criticism is that you can't book mid-week to midweek.
