This tiny fishing village is situated between the Burren Mountains and Galway Bay, overlooking the harbour. It is home to a safe sandy beach, the famous Flaggy Shore with beautiful flora and fauna, a locally caught seafood shop, an art gallery and shop, and Linnane's renowned Lobster Bar and Restaurant. There are lots of lovely things to see and do, and great days out from New Quay; explore the rock pools on the Flaggy Shore rocks, the seaside villages of Kinvara and Ballyvaughan are a short drive away, there are several championship golf courses close by, as well as sandy beaches great for bathing, and lovely scenic walks and green roads.
