Local walking trails are in abundance from these Scarriff cottages with the Cliffs of Moher within a 1 hour drive. There is a championship golf course at nearby East Clare and the waters of Lough Derg are just a few minutes’ drive away offering a whole range of watersports including sailing, canoeing, kitesurfing, and wakeboarding. The town of Scarriff offers a range of amenities, from traditional Irish pubs with live music to restaurants and a harbour. This traditional semi-detached Scarriff cottage offers exposed beams and pine-clad ceilings, with an open fire in the sitting room making it a warm and welcoming property throughout the year. This Scarriff cottage has three bedrooms and open plan living accommodation with a well-equipped kitchen with large breakfast counter, open plan dining area, and sitting area. Note: This cottage can be booked with Ref. 8442 to accommodate 12 people.

Scarriff, in County Clare, is a large village located on the banks of Lough Derg. Situated near the shore of Scarriff Bay, one of the prettiest parts of Lough Derg, and surrounded by lakelands, Scarriff is renowned for its great angling resources. The East Clare Golf Course is a few miles away, while the East Clare Way, a designated walking route, is also nearby. The village of Killaloe is only 12 miles away, and provides great hill walking, boating, watersports and fishing. Lahinch is within easy driving distance, and provides great surfing, fantastic golf and a beautiful stretch of sandy beach to enjoy. A little further afield lie the Cliffs of Moher; one of Ireland's most visited tourist attractions, the Cliffs of Moher offer stunning coastal walks overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, and from the top they boast views out to the Aran Islands and Galway Bay.
