Set amidst spectacular scenery, this lovely village offers a wealth of traditional inns and good restaurants, whilst providing easy access to the Blue Flag beach at Rossbeigh Strand, a sandy beach stretching over 4 miles, renowned for its safe swimming, adventure sports and paragliding. The surrounding area boasts a wealth of activities including sport-fishing, some of the best bass fishing in Ireland, horseriding, golf and canoeing, whilst the Coomasaharn horse-shoe mountain to the south, Seefin and Curra to the east and west and Slievemish to the north provide great walking opportunities and stunning views. A variety of access paths to the McGillycuddy Reeks (Ireland's highest mountains) are just a fifteen minute drive away, and with the pretty town of Killorglin also within easy reach, this beautiful area has plenty for all the family to explore!
