The village of Ballyduff, set in beautiful County Waterford countryside, sits on the banks of the Blackwater River and is known as a centre for angling, with a number of fisheries in the locality. The village has a shop, 4 pubs and restaurant serving good fresh food. The heritage town of Lismore is 7 miles away, with many shops, eateries, craft displays and opportunities to enjoy live music. There is pony trekking nearby, plus several golf courses within a ten minute drive. The coast is 15 miles away, and along its length it offers sea cliffs, beaches, coves and tidal pools, plus the Hook lighthouse, seaside resort of Tramore and the sweeping beach and medieval sculptures of Ardmore.

Ballyduff 1 mile. A detached cottage on a working livestock farm a mile from the village of Ballyduff, 5 miles from Lismore, in County Waterford. This bright, welcoming Ballyduff cottage offers accommodation which is decorated in a stylish and contemporary fashion, including an open plan living area, a modern bathroom and two bedrooms with Velux windows. There are some views over the countryside from the kitchen window, and guests have use of a patio area outside, and a small lawned area opposite this Ballyduff cottage. The village is a noted angling centre, enjoying its setting on the lovely Blackwater River, and also has a shop, a pub and a restaurant. The coast is easily reached, and the town of Lismore, a hub of Irish life since medieval times, offers crafts, restaurants, bars, live music and a variety of shops.
