    • “We spent a week in this property and wish it had been longer. The owners were available if needed and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was so homely and welcoming, a lovely plate of scones were waiting on our arrival.”

    • “A sweet little cottage located in a small quiet town, about 20-30 min drive from Galway. There is room for a car if you have one. The cottage is snug and has a well stocked kitchen if you do plan to do some proper cooking. The cottage is furnished well and feels like a home. A lot of care and effort has been put into the place to make it feel homely, and it does. The bed is comfortable and comes with extra blankets and pillows if needed as well as an electric blanket. Very invaluable if you decide to holiday during a very cold week! A thoughtful plate of scones, jam and butter was left out for as when we arrived at the cottage. There is a selection of DVD's and books upstairs. The owners have also put together a file of suggestions for day trips, restaurants and things to do if you need some help. They have also listed other useful information such as the whereabouts of the nearest post office, church, police station, hospital etc. We had a lovely time there and would definitely return on a second visit to Ireland. It is very well priced, private and feels like your home for the week or however long you have chosen to stay.”

    • “We were welcomed with warmth and hospitality by the owners Aisling and Joe who had obviously put this cosy cottage together with great attention to detail. Being near the road caused no problems at all and made touring the area very simple. Kinvara is close by and is a very characterful, pretty village whch can be reached in a few minutes. There are forest walks, dramatic coastal drives and the Burren all within reach. We left the property already planning our next visit . We would recommend the Gallery to anyone wanting a genuine experience of Galway.”

The cottage caters for everything you could possible need. It was extremely clean, well looked after and presented. The owners aisling & Joe were the most welcoming and warm people who couldn't help you enough. They were very friendly and approachable. We fell in love with the place and the people and will most definitely be back in the future!”

    • “Cosy well located cottage.”
    • tripadvisor rating
    • “The cottage is the perfect size for a couple, with an open plan living room/dining area/kitchen upstairs and a double bedroom and shower downstairs. It's well equipped and comfortable with everything you need for your stay. There is a small private sitting out area at the back. The cottage is located next to the owner's house by a main road but we weren't aware of any traffic noise once inside the cottage. There are plenty of places to eat not too far away in Kilcolgan and Kinvarra, and Ballinderreen itself has a couple of pubs and a petrol station/convenience store. It's a good base for touring around and is ideally located for visiting The Burren and Galway City. The beautiful and almost totally unspoilt landscape of Connemara is also within easy reach by car.”
