    “The facility is fine, a real ...”
    The facility is fine, a real immersion in the country, an old house very comfortable. Mrs. Reena has been welcoming and immediately fixed a problem with the washing machine, putting there a new one in some hours. The area is nice, a supermarket is at 2 minutes driving, the huge Galway Plaza (15 minutes driving) offers a choice of food and another small Spar supermarket, and the fuel station. Anglers can also drop a line in and see what bites, while ornithologists will love walking through 15 acres of wetlands, which are dotted with wild flowers and provide an excellent vantage point for birdwatching.

Loughrea is located south east of Galway city on the northern shore of Lough Rea. The medieval town centre is host to several shops and pubs, as well as an 18 hole golf course and a lake, renowned for its fishing. Gort, is a medium sized market town on the Galway-to-Ennis Road, situated in a gap between the Slieve Aughty Mountains and the Burren to the south, plus the heritage town of Athenry and the market town of Portumna are within driving distance. There is a strong tradition of Irish music in the locality and many pubs stage sessions at night, plus the area has lots to offer, from beautiful countryside, to great restaurants offering varied types of cuisine.
