Situated just off the main road that leads from Galway City to Oughterard, these two cottages are located next to the owner’s home and nestled beside a small area of woodland, four miles from Oughterard, County Galway. These two Oughterard cottages have been lovingly decorated throughout to offer a home-away-from-home for couples or groups of friends wishing to explore the popular region of Connemara. With comfortable accommodation within and a well-maintained large, shared garden outside, these Oughterard cottages combined can accommodate up to seven people, so there is plenty of flexibility for all party sizes. With so much to see and do in the area, you will find your schedule jam-packed! The traditional village of Oughterard acts as a gateway to the wild and wonderful Connemara and boasts many attractions and activities for all ages, such as fishing and lake cruises in the nearby Lough Corrib, Oughterard Golf Course, welcoming pubs and delicious local cuisine. For the more active members of your party why not set off on the Derroura Mountain Bike trail where you will face thrilling descents and climbs along with stunning scenery? The capital of Connemara, Clifden is only a short drive away and here you can enjoy sandy beaches, pony trekking and deep sea angling. This detached, single-storey Oughterard cottage has two bedrooms, each with an en-suite shower room, and there is an open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and cosy sitting area where you can soothe any aching bones by the woodburning stove. The conservatory opens out to the rear patio with furniture where you can enjoy a refreshing drink in the sunshine. A charming Oughterard cottage.
