Ballymahon is off the beaten Irish tourist route, but this is what we were looking for. We had planned our vacation to see and investigate family history in the surrounding towns of Cavan and Roscommon. Visiting the nearby villages and hamlets is always a part of our vacations. Ballymahon itself has everything that we required from a supermarket, pubs and music, dinner in a fine hotel. The nearby city of Athlone provided a whole day of site seeing and historical perspective. To come back to this Irish Cottage at the end of the day made it very special. Our stay in this cottage was memorable, enjoyable and highly recommended by us.

Mr Battle, Mahopac, Ny, March 2014

Everything was fantastic. The facilities at the cottage was spot on. The welcome pack was very useful and gave lots of information about the area and beyond. All in all a brilliant holiday.

Mr Matthews, Congleton, August 2013

This was an fantastic cottage in a beautiful area and in close proximity to a charming town with quaint pubs and restaurants. It was beautifully restored, had well-maintained grounds, and was perfect for our vacation. Hogan's Cottages was easy to work with, and we had no problems at all reaching the property manager and taking full advantage of the cottage.

Miss Avitable, Austin, September 2012

The property is located in a beautiful spot, perfect for families and I would recommend it to anyone. The cottage is well maintained, as are the grounds and is close to local amenities.
