  • "The accommodation was very comfortable and suitable for our holiday break."

It has a pleasant and peaceful rural setting and is very convenient to the nearest town, Ballymote and an easy drive to other tourist and interesting attractions. I have no hesitation in recommending it as a good holiday venue and would like to repeat the experience sometime in the future.

  • "We were very impressed by this facility."

It has been modernised to a high standard, spacious and ideal for young children because of the spacious floor area. It is beautifully located in full view of the Keash Caves, and a few minutes drive from Ballymote for provisions. It is strategically placed for touring Co. Sligo, Leitrim and Roscommon. The owner is most helpful and accommodating. Wifi signals are intermittent in this area, but we found the local library in Ballymote excellent for internet. A really great holiday. Adrian

  • "Hannons Farmhouse is a beautiful rural location where you can look out to the Keash Caves and climb the path to venture in."

The owners were were helpful before our trip and welcoming on arrival. They left us to enjoy the house but reassured us they were only a phonecall away. The house itself met all our needs from well equipped kitchen to comfort. The local pub the Foxes Den served a great pint of Guinness and well worth a visit to the restored cottage on the premises. Lough Key forest park was less than half an hour drive with something for everyone cycling, zip wires, beautiful walks through the woodland and of course we had to try out the Segway experience. Rosses Point was recommended but we run out of time. Highly recommend this house and holiday location for all the family including our 4 legged member.
