This traditional farm cottage is attached to the owners' thatched Devon farmhouse, on a working dairy farm in Filleigh near South Molton.
The farm is tenanted and forms part of the renowned Castle Hill Estate, a Grade I listed park and gardens.
Set within an idyllic rural location and with amazing far reaching views, this comfortably-furnished cottage provides an ideal getaway for a family or group of friends.
Spread over three floors, there is a family bedroom on the second floor, an en-suite double, an additional double bedroom and bathroom on the first floor, plus a kitchen and sitting room on the ground floor.
Both the front and back doors of the cottage open to a spacious enclosed garden with lawn, patio, furniture and extensive views across the cow barns to the countryside beyond.
Children will love the swings, dogs are safely enclosed and the adults can sit and relax whilst enjoying a barbecue.
The farmers love to encourage their guests to feed the calves, admire the lambs and collect the chickens’ eggs, all of which gives a real taste of Devon rural life.
The local village thatched pub is very popular with families and as this lovely cottage is so accessible from the A361, it is easy to reach the market town of South Molton for shopping.

Filleigh is a small North Devon village near the market town of South Molton, on the edge of Exmoor. Much of the land surrounding Filleigh is owned by The Castle Hill Estate, a Grade I listed park and gardens, occasionally open to the public. The delightful 16th century thatched Stags Head village inn is in a beautiful lakeside setting, adjacent to the estate, amidst rolling fields and lush woodland and has a welcoming reputation. The attractive market town of South Molton is known as The Gateway to Exmoor and is ideally placed in North Devon, boasting a range of shops, amenities and a weekly market. Being pleasantly situated not far from both coastal and inland beauty spots it will suit visitors of all tastes. In close proximity are forests, moors, rivers and coast, with churches and other buildings of historical significance. Residents find the quiet charm of the area attractive and visitors soon experience the sense of civic pride held by the locals. There is superb walking on the South West Coast Path and the North Devon beaches are varied and interesting. Visit the National Trust's Watersmeet Gorge, Valley of the Rocks and the funicular cliff railway.
