  • "When we arrived at the lodge, we were amazed at the quality of the accomodation."

Everything was so clean, so comfortable a real home from home. The fact that there was cleaning equipment available was a bonus, we didn't want to be too involved in cleaning as we were on holiday, but we appreciated the fact that the cleaning products were there. If we had a slight moan, it would be the glass tables, by the end of the week I had a fair few bruises caused by banging into the corners of the tables. But then I am probably the exception as my sight is not good and I couldn't always see the corners of the tables. some sun would have been nice, but that is not your remit, we had a smashing week, a really lovely lodge

  • "We had a lovely comfortable stay at B26."

It was so nice to look out and see the sea, in the distance. The lodge was a home from home and a great location for walking to Berry Head and onto Brixham. We were contacted to say, we could check in earlier and when we did arrive, fresh flowers and treats. So kind.

  • "Lodge was beautiful, comfortable beds and fluffy towels all the comforts of home, Andy even called us on the way down and told us the lodge had been cleaned and if we wanted to we could go in early, but as we were in a traffic jam at that time we couldn't get there."

The park was a bit of a disappointment nothing really started for adults until around 9.00 pm, plenty for the children to do, which was good if you had children with you. It stated that there was a restaurant, but that was closed and so was the bar, all in darkness. the only bar open was where the children were all running around across the dance floor. But as i said the lodge was great, and we enjoyed our holiday.

  • "The owner should be proud of what he offers for rental,it is definitely a wow property and he has provided everything you could think whilst staying in this property."

Anne the cleaner deserves a mention as the place was spotless and it all looked brand new. Nothing brings a smile to your face like opening your curtains and seeing the sea. The only drawback was park holidays who let us down when wanting to dine on site but were told not possible as they were too busy and that the inside pool wasn't fixed until 1 day before our weeks break. We spent £37.50 on 3 passes for which we did not use. I have been in touch with the park but were fobbed of with excuses. Would definitely stay at that property again but if it was in a different site.

  • "The external mage of the lodge is slightly misleading, actually the Lodge is sited in an overcrowded area of the park although you are able to see the sea at a stretch anyway that didn't stop us from enjoying our stay or the 5 star Accommodation and the extra mile the owners and cleaner went to ensure that our stay in the lodge was of the highest standard of luxury, comfort and to be spoilt by the quality of beds, the linen and towels which were amazing and all the modern facilities, fully equipped kitchen and diner along with the comfortable furnishings and a nice welcoming touch left by the cleaner!"

We cannot recommend enough the quality of our stay and am incredibly grateful for all the little but important things that were put in place which stood far above anywhere we have ever stayed including 5-star hotels in this country and overseas. Thank you so much to the owners and the people that made the Lodge feel homely and special!

..was clean and well maintained, everything in it you needed. One suggestion, maybe add the club passes into the price and have the passes ready for your stay when we get there. Was disappointed to find out that we would have to pay extra for the passes to enjoy the pool and cluhouse entertainment. But overall was a fabulous few days. Thank you.

  • "Great place, very clean and comfortable."

A pole to open/close the velux windows would be useful as they are in the bathrooms and would help get rid of steam from the showers. But small detail and did not spoil our stay in the slightest. Would love to return next year.

Glad you enjoyed your stay and thanks for the feedback. Don’t know what happened to the window pole but a new one is on its way. Thanks for letting me know about this, much appreciated. Hope to see you back soon. Property Owner

It is beau and every had been thought of - even supplying spare batteries for remote controls. Right on the coastal path the location is superb if you don’t mind a hilly walk. The clubhydid not really appeal to us and did not look very inviting but maybe that’s just us. Highly recommend for location and luxury.

Although the site promotes buying and letting of homes they aren’t very friendly to guests. You have to buy a pass in order to use the facilities. • "We felt the caravan was beautiful although there was a lot of cobwebs and dust."

The facilities at the park were terrible there was a restaurant to eat at but this was closed after the first day an remind that way all week. There was a small shop on site that has absolutely nothing in it. My son wanted an ice cream but they never had any. No basic bits like bread, eggs, milk. Although the caravan was a beautiful caravan we would not return there. We payed over £2000 but don’t think the price was right for what we got.

Thank you for your feedback. We can only apologise regarding the lack of facilities. These were closed due to an unexpected Covid-19 outbreak amongst the staff. Regarding the cobwebs and dust, I have raised the issue and my disppointment with the cleaning agency we employ. We do hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise. Regards, the owners. Property Owner

It was absolutely stunning and we will 100% be coming back here ASAP! The view from the lodge is a lovely sea view and the park itself was really quiet and peaceful, lovely coastal walks too that lead you to the Harbour too! Could not fault this lodge/holiday one bit, you will not be disappointed if you book to come here! Cant wait to come back and experience the onsite pub/restaurant too! This year we went twice to this Lodge and both times exceeded our expectations. What it says on the listing for this Lodge is accurate. We had spectacular views and good weather. There are so many places to go from Brixham and we went to plenty of them. There is a shop on site, and swimming pool, arcade and entertainment centre for night times. You can have breakfasts and dinners at the site. There's a launderette there but we used the lodge's washing machine. We couldn't ask for more.

  • "The holiday home itself was absolutely gorgeous!"

Very well kept & some beautiful touches! It looks stunning in the pics and we couldn’t believe our luck that it was available but it’s even more beautiful in real life! It overlooks the bay just off Berry Head, the coastal walk is very close and walking up to the guardhouse cafe for breakfast is an absolute must! The keys were missing from the key safe and the staff onsite in reception were unhelpful! However we got on the phone to the delightful owner who is really lovely, who told us they have a master key at the sales office! Thanks to Glen we were in a short time later. Park holidays do not take any responsibility for the lodge listed on Skyes. Having said that it was such a lovely stay. Had everything we needed and more and the washer/dryer meant we brought no washing home - bonus! Very close to everything including Brixham harbour! Great stay thank you

The property was advertised as having Wi-Fi when it didn’t. Had I known this we would never have booked this property. We had 2 kids who were gutted and spent the first 30 mins of our stay searching for a router that didn’t exist. Other than that, everything else was fine.

Thank you for your feedback. The whole site was being upgraded from Spark wifi to VFast wifi and it is regrettable that your stay was impacted by this. We are happy to confirm that the new broadband provider is fully operational and look forward to you coming to test it out again soon. Property Owner

About the location

BRIXHAM

Dartmouth 5 miles; Paignton 6 miles; Torquay 8 miles.

Brixham is a working fishing harbour located on the southern side of Torbay, the area known as The English Riviera, famed for its sunny mild climate all year round. The focal point of the harbour is a life size replica of The Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake’s ship. The prettiest part of Brixham has small cottages in hilly narrow winding lanes leading to the harbour where all the activity is centred. Home to Britain’s largest fishing fleet which regularly lands their catch in the harbour, Brixham fish market sells to major restaurants in the UK. Brixham is the ideal destination for a traditional holiday with many family attractions around Torbay including two Blue Flag beaches, Paignton Zoo and many regattas and maritime events throughout the year. There are a host of safe cycle trails in the area, the South West Coastal Path and some of the best golf courses in the region. A good mix of relaxation or action, to suit all ages, where you are never far from the sea.
