A lot of thought has gone into making it a very relaxing home from home. We really appreciated the spacious parking area, as the options for parking in Noss Mayo are fairly limited. Linda was very helpful when we spoke to her and there was a lovely vase of fresh flowers on the table when we arrived. Would highly recommend Junket Cottage.

"From 2 days before we arrived when I received a lovely call from Linda asking if we'd like a cream tea on arrival I knew this would be a fantastic holiday and we weren't disappointed."
Junket cottage is very much the epitome of the perfect holiday cottage, it's spotlessly clean with every eventuality catered for from logs for the wood burner to soap dispensers in the bathrooms. This is all before I mention the location, on the banks of noss creek where you can watch the rise and fall of the tide in peace and quiet, enjoy a quiet drink or meal at any one of the 3 local pubs, we tried them all, or walk in any direction to various cove beaches. It was our 1st stay at Junket and noss mayo but we'll definitely be back

"Absolutely wonderful cottage."
Very comfortable and well appointed. Owners communication was excellent and we had all the information required to have a perfect stay.
The views from the bedrooms are stunning and the riverside slipway was an absolute godsend for us, allowing us to launch and store our Paddle board and Kayak without having to lug them around. It was also the perfect setting for a BBQ by the water in truly stunning surroundings.

The owner left us a lovely creamtea and a very nice bottle of wine. All three pubs in the vicinity were really good with high quality food. The location of the cottage was very convenient for walks and we would recommend the coastal path to Stoke Beach.

"Junket cottage is superb, there is nothing not to love about it."
The cottage itself is spotlessly clean with lovely furnishings, a fabulous log burner and a kitchen with everything you'll need if you decide to stay in and cook. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever stayed in a rental property. Noss Mayo itself has 3 wonderful pubs and we found everyone we spoke to very friendly. Linda the owner is a delightful lady and works incredibly hard to provide a great holiday experience. Really can't recommend Junket Cottage highly enough. We will definitely be back.

On arrival there were a number of treats waiting for us which were very much appreciated.
The cottage was well insulated from road noise, clean, comfortable and very well appointed. We would be pleased to stay here again and recommend this to others.

"Your insurance is very overpriced."
You charged a booking fee and then another £35 to postpone due to lockdown. This is disgusting. Our original Xmas week booking for more expensive than the week we moved it to but you did not refund the difference. I will never book with you or your associated companies again.
On the plus side, the cottage was great and the owners were very friendly and helpful.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback and we are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Junket Cottage. You contacted us to move your Christmas booking two months before the holiday started. As you know at the time we were dealing with bookings just a few weeks ahead of their start date as Covid restrictions were changing frequently. At that early stage your request to move the holiday to a new date carried the usual date amendment fee and the dates you moved to in May 2021 were slightly more expensive than your original Christmas week, so there was a small additional balance to pay.

We loved the cottage, well equipped, comfortable and a perfect location. Linda the owner was very attentive and helpful, and left us a bottle of fizz, flowers and an afternoon tea, perfect!
Some stunning scenery, countryside and coastal walks from the door and 3 really nice pubs with good food in walking distance. Having parking is essential around there as it’s narrow roads, the location of the cottage means you don’t need to venture too far into the narrow roads of the village, which we were glad of.

The cottage has great facilities and everything you need for a relaxing stay. It is set in a beautiful location with many walks that can be done from the cottage, the coastal path is spectacular
with great views. I would recommend Junket cottage for a perfect stay, its a suitable size for a family of four and dog friendly, all set in an area of outstanding beauty.

"A beautiful cottage in a wonderful setting looking down on the river."
The cottage is cosy and well equipped. Not only did the owner, Linda, welcome us with some goodies, she also had the cottage spotless, with an extensive and impressive Covid cleaning list checked off. We love Noss and Newton, the simple pleasure of local walks, not to forget 3 pubs in walking distance, the Ship being our favourite, still running an large menu. It’s why this was our second visit to Junket!

Exceptional views across the estuary but in the heart of the village. All you could need within walking distance including pubs, local coop, butcher, pharmacy etc. Within a short drive of the most wonderful dog friendly beach of mothecombe it really is an idyllic spot.
I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Cottage was in a great location and our dog was made very welcome with towels provided for him. The owner also provided scones, jam and cream as a welcome treat on our arrival which set us up for a fabulous start to our holiday.

And the location is stunning. (If I was to be super critical I would add that if you want a lot of outdoor space you need to be mindful that there is a small seating area opposite, but for more space you walk down steps to the shared quay side - if you're with small children please note!) But that didn't bother us and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

Junket Cottage met all my needs,and Linda,the owner was on site with all the local knowledge,which I found most useful.
A fabulous spot,and I would recommend it to anyone,at any time of the year.Great walks on the doorstep,and within easy distance to explore the beauty of South Hams and the Tamar Valley.Two fabulous pubs within walking distance of the cottage.

The owner goes to a great deal of trouble to ensure that visitors feel at home and have everything they need in the way of facilities and information. The mooring down on the creek is a delightful and peaceful place and the village has all you need if you don't want to stray too far. We would love to return to Junket Cottage and Noss Mayo!

The location was perfect for accessing all local pubs around the Estuary. It was exceptionally clean and beautifully presented inside and had recently been completely renovated with absolutely everything you need for your stay. The owner had definitely taken pride in their holiday let and you could see this immediately.
