  • "Fabulous apartment with everything you need."

Very comfy bed. Spacious, light and airy with spectacular views over the seafront. Well thought out and comfortable seating to enjoy the view. Very quiet but it was out of season. Hence struggled to find anything to eat in Seaton on arrival on a sunday night. Thank you for the luxurious welcome pack full of locally sourced goodies.

Thank you for your comments. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay in our apartment. We hope you return. Property Owner

  • "We really enjoyed our stay and loved the accommodation."

The view from the window in the living room and the balcony was perfect. The apartment itself was probably slightly bigger than we were expecting from the photographs. It was very clean and comfortable and would definitely recommend it. It's well located within Seaton with only a short walk to the town centre, and the local supermarket. Parking was fine too - the allocated space is a little bit tight, but not an issue unless you have a massive car!

So pleased to hear of your enjoyment in our apartment. Your comments are much appreciated. We hope to see you again. Property Owner

  • "The flat was perfect in every way, well equipped, clean tidy and the best location."

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have booked 2 weeks next year already. The views from the window are fantastic and it is perfect sitting on the balcony watching the sea. Highly recommended. The buses go to most of the local resorts which reduces the need to drive.

So pleased to hear of your enjoyment. We look forward to seeing you next year. Property Owner

Spacious, clean, and well presented. Ideal for a quiet relaxing break watching the world go by, and taking in the seascape from the balcony. We wouldn't hesitate in staying here again.

Very clean, with all the facilities we needed for a really comfortable stay. We spent alot of time by the windows as the view was just fabulous and the balcony was just an added bonus! It's a great place to stay to explore the coastline and neighbouring towns. A lovely place to spend a holiday!!

Great comms from the owners and we were welcomed by a clean, well equipped and presented apartment - we couldn’t have asked for more. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to all. Thank you.

  • "Lovely clean comfortable flat everything you need except for the supposed off Road parking."

On arrival we parked in allocated slot, only to be blocked in for three nights by car parked at property oposite. The slot was inaccessible for the remainder of our stay. We ended up parking along the seafront at front of property. This would have been a problem and added expense during the holiday season. Have limited mobility close off Road parking is one of the major reasons I book a property and the lack of it at this property could have created unnecessary stress. Believe you need to reconsider it this property should be advertised offering off Road parking. Or look to improving accessibility.

Glad you found the flat clean and comfortable. We were disappointed to read your comments re: the parking. We have now been utilising this car parking space for six years for many guests, who have appreciated the “free parking” so near the sea front. We do recognise that this is tight, but it is usable. Even when the building opposite uses their space, it can still be accessed. We do hope you will return. Property Owner

  • "What a lovely, spacious, light and airy flat, in a great position for us."

Everything we could need As you know from our phone call, the only problem was the beds and their hard mattresses resulting in a few difficult nights' sleep early on. Very glad that the holiday agent came to our aid with a duvet to put on top of the mattress (we'd already put the duvet from the other bedroom on the mattress to no avail). Ultimately we slept with two duvets on the mattress. Strongly suggest mattress toppers or memory foam for a layer of supportive comfort.

So glad you enjoyed your stay. We are sorry that you found the mattresses too hard for you, but glad that Lyme Bay were able to help. In view of your comments we will be replacing these mattresses immediately. We do hope that you will return to us. Kind regards. Property Owner

  • "While there were plentiful notices requesting care to be taken with the re-cycling arrangements and advising collection dates, which need bringing up to date, there were no indications as to what to do with the various receptacles on collection dates."

The bed mattresses have seen better days and proved to be uncomfortable sleeping for the more elderly bodies. Crockery a little sparse for ensuring a full load in the dishwasher fot efficiency reasons. These observations apart we had an enjoyable and relaxing break.

So glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. Your comments re: mattresses have been noted, although this is the first time that this has been mentioned to us. Wording on instructions re: rubbish will be checked and crockery will be added to. Property Owner

  • "The apartment was in excellent decorative order and was well cleaned."

The 'welcome bag' was useful and well thought out. The dual sea view from inside and the balcony outside was a main attraction for us and did not disappoint. Just a couple of points for future thought, 1. It would be nice to have a small table for drinks/nibbles between the two excellent reclining chairs at the main lounge window. 2. The outside balcony furniture is not up to the standard of the rest of the apartment - pretty uncomfortable. 3. The 20 degree thermostat setting ( asked not to adjust - so we did not) meant that the heating did not come on in the evening no matter what the radiator settings - so the apartment felt cold in the evenings. Overall we had a great stay in a great apartment which we would recommend to friends. Many thanks John & Margaret

So pleased to hear that you enjoyed your holiday. Your comments have been noted re: heating but has never been a previous issue. The outdoor furniture has to be collapsible, in order to be stored within the apartment, but cushions have now been supplied. Property Owner
