On the southern edge of Exmoor, the delightful community of Brayford nestles in a wooded river valley 9 miles from Barnstaple. Peaceful, rural seclusion and abundant wild and birdlife characterise the area. Country pursuits rule the way of life, with outstanding walking across the Exmoor hills and some of the South West's best salmon and trout fishing, the River Bray being notable for its salmon fishing. The area has many visitor attractions with Lynmouth, Lynton and Combe Martin all within a 30 minute drive and the resort of Ilfracombe and the wave-swept beach at Woolacombe just a little further. For more amenities, nearby Barnstaple is an excellent shopping centre and has several quality restaurants and places of entertainment.

Fabulous property, ideal for a quiet weekend away from the city and away from the noise. Very quiet, property owners were very pleasant - the furnishings and the property was excellent. Close to the coast and to local markets and only 15 minutes to a supermarket to top up for food, drink etc. Ideal for pets as well. 5* really.
