On the southern edge of Exmoor, the delightful community of Brayford nestles in a wooded river valley 9 miles from Barnstaple. Peaceful, rural seclusion and abundant wild and birdlife characterise the area. Country pursuits rule the way of life, with outstanding walking across the Exmoor hills and some of the South West's best salmon and trout fishing, the River Bray being notable for its salmon fishing. The area has many visitor attractions with Lynmouth, Lynton and Combe Martin all within a 30 minute drive and the resort of Ilfracombe and the wave-swept beach at Woolacombe just a little further.
