Beautifully restored, but retaining some appealing character features including exposed wooden beams, stone mullion windows and an inglenook fireplace, this Beer cottage is a superb family holiday home.
The flagged stone entrance hall leads into a sizeable dining room, ideal for any occasion, plus the two wood-panelled sitting rooms boast woodburning stoves, and the large kitchen has a breakfast area and doors leading to the garden.
Also on the ground floor is a single bedroom, whilst upstairs, there are four more bedrooms including the master king-size double, which has a wonderful cathedral-style panel ceiling, feature windows and an en-suite bathroom with a luxurious free-standing bath, plus the twin bedroom has a carved stone fireplace.
The pretty garden at this cottage in Beer is split, so in one area is a traditional cottage garden with English roses, and another area has a central lawn with seating, ideal for soaking up the sun and the glorious sea air.
A short stroll from this impressive Beer cottage takes you to the small pebbly cove teeming with fishing boats and cafes, and with numerous interesting places to visit nearby, including Seaton, Axminster, Branscombe and Sidmouth, this Devon holiday home is a perfect family base.

Beer is a small picturesque fishing village on the south Devon coast near Seaton. The shingle beach is very sheltered, backed by limestone cliffs and was once fertile smuggling territory, plus contraband was hidden in nearby caves, which are now a popular tourist attraction. Beer is situated on the stretch of Devon coastline, known as the Jurassic Coast, a designated World Heritage Site, and the village offers sloping streets lined with picturesque stone houses and cottages built on many different levels of the steep valley sides. There are a good range of shops, friendly cafes, restaurants and pubs in Beer, plus just outside the village is the popular Pecorama Gardens, which are perched on the hill overlooking Lyme Bay. Pecorama boasts the Beer Heights Light Railway and indoor model railway exhibition, along with a childrens' play area. Beer is a unique Devon fishing village and a great place to stay.
