This detached character cottage is an attractive barn conversion in rural farming countryside, 3 miles from the picturesque village of Bradworthy.

Along a quiet lane, away from roads and with a large garden, this is an ideal retreat that feels away from it all but is close to the amenities in Bradworthy, with a friendly pub and a selection of shops set around the village square.

There is an open plan living room with deep sofas and a woodburner, ideal for keeping you warm on cooler evenings after spending the day with the family exploring the countryside.

The well-equipped kitchen and dining area are close to the patio doors, so when eating meals with family and friends you can bring the outdoors in.

Both bedrooms have a TV and the double bedroom and family bathroom are on the ground floor.

The first floor family bedroom is set into the eaves with three single beds and a sitting area providing the ideal hideaway for children.

At the rear there is a large patio with a BBQ area where you can enjoy meals and the lovely views across Devonshire meadows.

There is even a large lawn which is ideal for family ball games and picnics and for wet days, families will enjoy the games room with a table tennis table, pool table and table football.

The dramatic north Cornwall coastline is only 10 minutes in the car where there are stunning cliff-top walks along the South West Coast Path, some pretty fishing villages to explore such as Clovelly and Appledore and long sandy, lifeguarded beaches in the Bude area.

This cottage offers a peaceful stay with access to a selection of countryside and seaside activities.
