The cottage even slightly bigger than we expected. It's an ideal base for days out visiting places in the locality. Would highly recommend it.

  • "Quiet and peaceful."

Nice gardens to sit in especially in evening to relax. Apartment very spacious well equipped, would use again if in area. Nicely positioned to visit all the North Somerset coastline and Devon for that matter. As walkers, it is also a good area to explore on foot. The closest village Williston, has a good coop store also a Spar shop, fish and chips etc. Would call this a little gem.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The location was ideal for getting around and about seeing places we had not visited before. Had to drive although local villages and beaches were very close. We felt the roads were a bit too busy and fast to walk directly from the accommodation. Although there were plenty of cyclists who would say different

  • "This is a lovely apartment, very spacious and well furnished."

The location is beautiful - very quiet, with a wonderful outlook over garden and trees to the hills beyond. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and even with the covid-19 restrictions, we had everything we could need for a comfortable weekend. There is excellent walking within a very short distance, on the coast, in the Quantocks and on Exmoor. An ideal retreat for these difficult times - we hope to visit again.(The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for comfort is that I think perhaps the radiators need bleeding - on two of our three nights they were pretty well cold, though as there was also a very good electric heater, this wasn't a serious problem. Please don't publish this bit!)

  • "We had a very enjoyable stay at Fig Trees, Wibble Farm and we loved the Somerset scenery."

The apartment was everything we expected, wonderfully spacious for two people and very peaceful. However, our stay was somewhat spoiled by the mattress being extremely soft and squidgy. This led to poor sleep quality as any movement was very uncomfortable and disturbing (we are not heavy people). One of us ended up sleeping on the sofa most nights, which was a huge disappointment. Fortunately the sofa was comfortable and we did not mention this to the owners as they would not have been able to correct the problem during our stay. Despite this we enjoyed our week and every other aspect of the apartment was good.

  • "Lovely cottage."

Very clean and tidy with good facilities despite being advised that many things had been removed due to the Covid regulations. We especially enjoyed being able to sit on the little sun terrace for drinks and meals in the evening. The hosts are very friendly ( as are their delightful dogs!) Just be aware if going for a walking holiday ( which we did) that there are no walks accessible from the cottage unless you want to walk for substantial distances on a main road with no footpath! This is a good location providing you are happy to drive.

  • "The location was an excellent touring base."

So close the to unspoilt countryside and stunning sea views. The accommodation was spotless, really comfy and really well decorated. We had everything we needed and more. Milk was provided which was much appreciated as well as other helpful items such as dishwasher tablets, dishcloths and washing up liquid and soap. We enjoyed buying some plants on our departure from the nursery on site (which was very separate from our accommodation - you wouldn’t know it was there).

  • "Very pleasant accommodation in top of farmhouse."

Good views of lovely garden. Owners very friendly. Some of the cooking utensils (oven trays) have been mistreated by previous occupants and should be replaced - but not a problem for us. Refrigerator is under-counter and a little on the small side, we were disappointed there were no ice-making facilities. These were relatively small problems and didn't detract from a very pleasant stay.

    K. holiday breaks we have ever had. The accommodation is superb, spotlessly clean and is equipped with everything you need to enjoy a comfortable and smooth running home from home. Michelle and Kevin Francis, the owners of Wibble Farm and the attached Nurseries are brilliant and always on hand to offer help and advice, should it be needed. This location is great to enable you to explore the immediate area ( and beyond ) and gave us the opportunity to relax and chill out for a few days in the tranquil and wonderful countryside. We will definitely be returning for another stay.

  • "Much larger flat than we expected - more than enough space for 2 people."

Helpful owners, a well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and great sized TV for watching the Olympics - along with a welcoming bottle of wine what more could we need for a great base from which to explore beautiful countryside. Only drawback for some of poor mobility would be the outside steps to the flat, but otherwise we would give a high recommendation of this property to anyone wanted a comfortable and peaceful base from which to have great days out on Exmoor, the Quantocks and the Somerset coast. Would very happily book this property for another holiday in the area.
