Warden Farm Cottages

An attractive group of barn conversion cottages situated on the outskirts of the picturesque village of North Tawton, in the heart of Devon, close to the Dartmoor National Park. These North Tawton cottages are located in a rural setting surrounded by green meadows full of grazing animals, and have marvellous, far-reaching countryside views towards Dartmoor. These excellent, Devon stone cottages have been sympathetically designed to provide spacious accommodation of a high standard, each with their own contemporary style. There are five acres of private meadows surrounding these North Tawton cottages, where guests can walk the dog, sit and relax, or watch the abundant wildlife around the natural ponds. The Taw Valley provides lovely walks along the river banks, and the local long distance Tarka Trail follows in the footsteps of the character Tarka the Otter, from Henry Williamson’s famous novel. In Devon, you can always be assured of plenty of local produce shops, traditional pubs, and quaint villages with a slow pace of life, however, the more adventurous may wish to tackle the rugged and dramatic Dartmoor Tors nearby. The North Devon coastline is renowned for its long sandy beaches, ideal for safe bathing and surfing, whilst the historic cathedral city of Exeter is just a short drive away, with its cobbled streets, array of architecture, and interesting quayside area with cafés and antique shops. A stay in these beautiful North Tawton cottages will provide peace, relaxation, and a taste of rural life in stunning Devon countryside.
