Location: Huish Champflower Near Wiveliscombe

Wiveliscombe 3 miles.

Huish Champflower is a small Somerset village, with a few houses and a pretty 13th century church. Tucked into the Brendon Hills down winding wooded lanes, this is a perfect centre from which to set out on outdoor pursuits; from fishing for trout on the peaceful waters of Clatworthy Reservoir or Wimbleball Lake, horse-riding at a number of stables in the area or simply taking a long walk through the idyllic countryside on well-signed paths. The village is half an hour's drive from North Somerset's beaches, such as Blue Anchor Bay and, as the gateway to the Brendon Hills and Exmoor, an ideal base for walking and other pursuits in one of Britain's loveliest national parks. The nearby town of Wiveliscombe just three miles away has a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, plus the picturesque towns of Dulverton and Bampton are within driving distance. A perfect holiday destination - peace coupled with good facilities and leisure pursuits.
