The cottage lies on the old Mineral Line which is now a dedicated footpath and cycle track taking you to the pretty harbour village of Watchet, two miles along the track.

This cosy cottage offers comfortable accommodation and has pine floors throughout, an open plan living room and a verandah where guests can sit as long as they like watching birds, admiring the view and enjoying the sunshine.

There are two bedrooms, both with magnificent views of the surrounding countryside, and one with an en-suite shower room.

The cottage is a stone’s throw from Washford which has two good pubs and a train station, one of the departure points for the West Somerset Railway.

Why not hop on board and enjoy the ride to Minehead with its delightful seafront, sandy beach and array of shops?

Four miles away is the village of Dunster, which offers a wealth of historic buildings including an 11th century National Trust-owned castle.

Families will love Tropiquaria Zoo only half a mile away, plus the fabulous North Somerset beaches.
