The property

A detached bungalow with distant sea views, situated in a quiet position within a residential area, a quarter of a mile from the beach and golf course at Westward Ho!.

Park the car at the front of the bungalow, climb a couple of steps up to the gravelled front garden and step inside this warm and cosy cottage.

The sitting room is the hub of the house and all rooms lead off it.

This attractive room boasts oak floors, plush sofas, a wall mounted TV and patio doors onto a sea facing terrace, which is a tempting spot for refreshment.

The kitchen is spacious and spotless and leads into a sunny conservatory used as the dining area, with its own TV and doors to an enclosed rear courtyard garden brimming with potted plants in the summer.

Completing the accommodation are three bedrooms, which share a shower room and all have their own TV and DVD players.

A ten minute walk from the cottage takes you to either the golf course, or the huge sandy beach, which is popular with surfers, and the town itself has cafés and bars.

Apart from Westward Ho! beach, this area of Devon is renowned for a number of spectacular beaches, including Saunton Sands and Woolacombe, all of which provide fabulous opportunities for surfing, swimming and kite surfing.

For a more relaxed day, visit the historic fishing village of Clovelly, which is perched on the hill overlooking the working harbour, and where donkeys are used to carry loads up the narrow, steep streets.

The South West coast path is dramatic in North Devon and offers walkers spectacular scenery and undulating paths.

Hartland Point, with views of Lundy Island, is a notable landmark on the coast path and the island can be reached by boat from nearby Bideford.

This bungalow will be loved by all and provides a relaxing stay, wonderful views and a taste of North Devon that you will want to return to.
